You have to charge for 1.5 hours to get 1 hour of cordless usage. Another great thing about this trimmer is the fact that the entire body is washable, so you can use it wet and dry. Inside the package you get the trimmer itself, the user manual, charging cord, a cleaning brush, and a travel bag.

2. Vifycim Electric Shaver

The Vifycim electric shaver is a slightly bulkier option and has a different design on the blades in comparison to the Hattekar. The blades are from Germany and they also have some kind of anti-pinching technology in place, which is great. There’s a pop-up trimmer and the shaver can be used wet or dry depending on your requirement. This one has a slightly slower charging time at 2 hours that gives about an hour of usage. The LED display shows the remaining time in minutes which is a nice touch.

3. Roziahome Electric Shaver

The Roziahome electric shaver is one that has a very peculiar design. Kind of like a flower petal. It is a pretty affordable trimmer and the construction is not as sturdy as the more expensive ones. There is a pop-up sideburn trimmer, a 5D floating head, and a non-slip design. It literally fits inside the palm of your hand. Since the whole body is washable, it is easy to maintain it. The head is also detachable which makes it easy to clean.

4. Remington F5-5800 Foil Shaver

Up until now, we’ve seen some of the smaller brands on our list of the Top 10 Electric Shavers for men. But from here on out, it is going to be from the best players in the industry. We love the design and soft-touch grip that feels nice in hand. The company promises 3 weeks’ worth of usage with 1 full charging cycle and with just 5 minutes of charge, you can get one shave done. It is also 100% waterproof and you can use it in the shower, with foam and also dry. They use their EasyClick technology that allows you to quickly change trimmer attachments for grooming in any way you prefer.

7. Braun Electric Shaver Series 7 7075cc

This one is yet another superb trimmer from Braun and it is from their 7 Series of electric shavers. Braun men's shavers are made in Germany and built to last. This one has a 360-degree flex head that adapts to every nook and corner of your face. They have a cool Autosense technology that reads your beard density and removes the follicles depending on the length and thickness. Similar to the 5 series shaver, this one also gives 3 weeks’ worth of juice in a single charge and a 5-minute quick charge ensures a single shave. The LED display is really simple and minimalistic with just three indicators for the charge. The lithium-ion battery charges quickly and gives you enough charge for a shave within 5 minutes. One hour of charge will give you juice for almost 17 shaves. Different companies have different names for their technologies and Philips is no different, with their Skin Guard mode, the rotational speeds will be lower and you will get a gentler shave.

10. Braun Electric Shaver Series 7 7071cc

Lastly, we have yet another electric shaver from Braun. This one is very similar to the 7075cc shaver from Braun but is priced slightly lower because it is an older model. As far as we can see, there are only very minor cosmetic differences between the two shavers. 7075cc comes with 2 additional attachments but this one doesn’t. Also, the color on the 7071cc is silver but the 7075cc is black. But apart from that, it is everything that you get with the 7075cc at a lower price. So if you don’t find much use for the attachments, you can go for this one without a doubt.

Miso Robotics Unveils ROAR, a Kitchen Assistant for Restaurants

Miso Robotics just unveiled Miso Robot on a Rail (ROAR) to help restaurants automate their kitchen tasks. This is an improvement over Flippy, which was fixed to a ground-mounted base. Miso’s ROAR, on the other hand, is set on top of a movable rail. It also costs only 50% of what Flippy does, and restaurants can purchase it for $30,000. It can easily be installed on a floor or below a standard kitchen hood.

Restaurants will find that the robot will help automate many things that their staff often have to do, freeing up time and valuable man-hours. Most importantly, it will enhance kitchen productivity and boost revenue by processing more orders per hour.

How does Miso’s ROAR work, and what does it do?

ROAR can work two stations and communicate with a cold storage hopper. The robot runs on Miso AI, which is the Miso Robotics’s cloud-based platform. It comes with several cookable food categories such as potato wedges, corn dogs, cheese sticks, French fries, chicken tenders, etc. It can prepare hundreds of orders in less than an hour.

Here are some of the specific functions that the robot is designed to perform:

It uses multiple cameras and safety screeners to transform frozen food and cook it, with no human intervention.
When the recipe is cooked and ready, it notifies nearby workers so that they can take the orders to the customers.
ROAR also scrapes grills, drains excess oil and skims oil as well.
The inherent AI helps the robot to recognize and monitor items such as burger patties, which need to be treated differently.

Miso Robotics assures that its robots will not replace human workers

Miso Robotics is based in Pasadena, California, and the startup has already raised $15 million. While restaurants are eager to implement automation to reduce costs, employees often fear that automation will result in job loss. Miso Robotics assures those who are worried they may lose jobs, that such a scenario is not going to happen. It asserted that robots only boost productivity by working with humans, and not be replacing them.

One needs to wait and watch how true this claim is, as automation has already resulted in a decent number of job losses. However, robots have also helped companies to generate more profits and expand, giving new opportunities for job creation.
