We love Japan for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is their relatively bizarre (to us, of course) food creations. Case in point is Snow Brand Milk’s Spreadable Coffee, set to be released in the Land of the Rising Sun this month. Yes, it seems to be exactly what it sounds like: some kind of coffee concoction that you can spread on your toast, like Nutella. And yes, it’s caffeinated. We’re not sure what goes in it, and we’re not sure we care. There’s very little chance we’ll get our hands on it this side of the pond, but if you’re in Japan you might want to keep an eye out for it.

Q-Bong Pressurized Beer Bong
A beer bong is a pretty good way to get a lot of beer inside your body in a very short timespan. But you might be one of those who feels that’s just not fast enough. Gravity isn’t cutting it for you? Well, that’s fine because now you can use the Q-Bong Beer Bong. It uses a pressurized reservoir and a one-handed trigger valve so you can basically squirt all that beer down your throat as fast as humanly possible. There’s a pressure bulb attached to the reservoir which lets you pump up the PSI as high as you want, so the more you pump the faster you’ll guzzle that malt liquor up.
It holds 36 oz. and costs $20. And this is probably where we should tell you not to be idiots, and drink responsibly. Or at the very least, don’t drink and drive.

While Everything is Getting “Smart”, Do We Really Need Smart… Socks?
It’s not just because you can do something that you should actually do it. Or at least, we fail to see why adding connectivity to your freaking socks is of any importance at all. That hasn’t stopped a company called Blacksocks from creating the Calf Socks Classic with Plus+. Yeah… Smart Socks.
Imagine your phone could communicate with your socks. Your phone would know:
– which socks belong together, and could help sort them out,
– how often you have washed your socks,
– when your socks were produced,
– when you ordered your socks and
– when your socks were dispatched.
– Your iPhone can also tell you if your black socks are no longer properly black and help you buy new socks. This is something we dreamed about and we have made the dream come true. The result is Smarter Socks – probably the smartest socks in the world. They are undoubtedly the first socks which leave their mark on the internet via the Sock Sorter and your iPhone.
We can just imagine the company meeting where these socks were born, and how many ideas were thrown about until something stuck. We admire the company’s enthusiasm and hopefulness, but given the $189 price tag (for socks!!), we’re not sure the market will respond as enthusiastically.

Think Of This As a Garter-Belt For Your Shirt
Guys will understand the pain associated with the constant niggling of a dress shirt slowly tucking itself out of your pants, and your having to endlessly readjust. It’s not like it’s one of life’s great miseries or anything, but if a product like the NT T-Holder can make our lives even a little bit easier, I’m all for it. It’s sort of like a garter belt for guys, but instead of holding up a pair of lovely thigh highs, they hold down your shirt so it never pops back out of your pants. You’ll be able to squat, reach for items in high places, stretch, and do any of the things that would normally have been followed by a furious tucking session. It’s $35.
