Just like his outfit, his personal battleship is slightly inspired by Sith/Empire aesthetics with a personal touch to make it iconic and different enough from what we’ve already seen. This is not quite a Tie Fighter, but it’s still great. The LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle measures 11″ high, 8″ long and 7″ wide with wings retracted, and over 15″ high with wings extended, and will surely become one of the most iconic ships in the saga’s long history.

LEGO Star Wars First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter (75101)

The First Order seem to be the remains of the empire, and of course they’re still using their iconic and awesome Tie Fighters. The LEGO Star Wars First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter Measures over 9″ (23cm) high, 7″ (20cm) long and 7″ (18cm) wide and is on sale for $55.99.

The Oculus Rift Launch Date Might Be Announced Tomorrow

Oculus Rift Announcement

Virtual reality is the future, and the future is coming sooner than expected. The release date for the Oculus Rift might be announced tomorrow during The Video Game Awards 2015.

The Oculus Rift by Oculus VR is probably the highest profile gadget when it comes to virtual reality, the next big thing that will hit the entertainment industry. Although prepared for gaming, virtual reality already has entered the collective consciousness as a product that will revolutionize the way we watch movies, concerts or TV shows, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the moment the Oculus finally makes a public release as an official product anyone can walk into a store and buy. Turns out, the Oculus VR team implied this might happen sooner than later, as they recently announced that a very special announcement would be happening at the Game Awards 2015, which will take place tomorrow (December 3rd), and no one on the internet can imagine what this could be except an official announcement and release date.

As of now, the company has not announced any details or official dates for the Oculus Rift, or even a price point, but rumors and speculation have been going on for a while saying the boom of Virtual Reality will take place throughout 2016, with Samsung, PlayStation, THC, Valve and many others releasing their own devices. The Oculus Rift had been available for developers and enthusiasts, but the company sold out and now everyone is waiting for the official release. Still, if we speculate based on Palmer Luckey’s tweet below, the announcement might be happening really, really soon.

The first consumer version of the Oculus Rift VR headset had started production back in October, according to industry insiders, but no one can say for sure how many are being made, or even how big the demand for this will be at launch as this is a completely new technology. Surely we will hear all about it at tomorrow’s event. Other rumors speculate that the Oculus Rift headset will be priced $350 USD at least, or that it might come in the first quarter of 2016, which all seem plausible, but as of now it’s not certain at all.

At the pace the VR industry is going, if the Oculus VR team want to beat everyone to the punch, they need to announce the official date pretty soon, and what’s even more – start taking preorders. The market and consumers seem ready for everything to happen, the technology is already here, so all that is left is to be able to just walk into a store or go online to purchase our favorite headsets. We will let you know the details after the announcement happens at the Game Awards tomorrow, but we think it’s reasonable to get hyped.

16 Geeky Car Accessories to Pimp Up Your Ride

Geeky Car Accesories Star Wars R2-D2 Car USB Charger

We spend so much time on our cars every day that we might as well consider them a second home. And like every home, it’s putting your personal tastes in it what makes it cozy. Here’s our list of cool accessories to help you do exactly that!

Geeks and cars go together extremely well, and throughout the years we have seen many examples of that such as Transformers, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, Knight RIder, and so on. These productions have, in turn, inspired a plethora of amazing accessories and fun things we can use to geek up our actual cars in real life – because we adore paying homage like this to the things we love. This is our list of accessories to geek up your car – some of them inspired by other cars, some by space ships, all of them incredibly geeky and awesome. Pick your favorites here!

Star Wars Car Accessories

Star Wars R2-D2 USB Charger for Cars

One thing we hate about smartphones and other modern gadgets is how many of them don’t have enough juice to last through a whole day of use. It seems that whenever you need them the most, they just happen to die on you, and that is a huge issue when we lead lives that are as hyper-connected as ours. So here comes R2-D2 from the Star Wars movies to do exactly what he does throughout all six Star Wars movies: solve everyone’s problems, worries and woes. This R2-D2 USB charger for cars is an officially licensed piece that has enough energy (2.1 Amps) to charge up to two tablets simultaneously.

Star Wars Car Seat Covers

If you happen to have a Dark Sith Lord in the family (you know, consider that thing dad does with his hands when he tries to convince you of doing something you don’t feel like), investing in these Darth Vader Seat Covers might be a good idea. Next thing you know, you will need to paint your car seat belts light saber red, and start breathing heavily whenever anyone gets in the car with you.

Star Wars Car Mat

This set of Star Wars Car Mats is all about Imperial pride, displaying the iconic helmets of a Storm Trooper and Lord Darth Vader himself – you can pick your favorite if you decide to purchase these. If you ever have an annoying back seat driver or someone’s pissing you off, you get to call them Rebel scum before you kick them out of your car, and that’s just priceless.

Star Wars Family Car Decals

We are going to be completely honest with you: we always hated car decals. That is, until we saw these ones which could represent our entire families as either Jedi, Sith, Stormtroopers or any character of your choosing. You can have a Darth Vader or Han Solo dad depending on the relationship with the children,  or represent the kids as little Lukes and Leias or even Jawas. The idea is to give you range for self-expression with a Star Wars theme, and if this sounds appealing, you should totally check the full Star Wars pack including over 50 decals, and do it before Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens launches so you can flaunt these at the movie theater’s parking lot.

Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. USB Charger

The dream of the talking car is closer than ever, and we don’t mean just a silly GPS giving us instructions like we don’t know exactly where we want to go. And, while this neat little gadget doesn’t exactly make conversation with you, it features some of the most iconic lines straight from the Knight Rider TV show as well as two fast-charging USB ports so you can recharge your gadgets while you ride around town. The Knight Rider USB Charger even features a button to make KITT shut up, in case you have had enough 80s for one day.

Super Mario Bros’ Boo Car Decal

Here’s a fun decal for those of us who grew up spending hours and hours at a time in front of the NES playing the classic Super Mario Bros games. This Super Mario Bros’ Boo Decal is absolutely perfect for when you’re tailing someone – if they look at you, you just got to stop and cover your face in shame, and resume the chase as soon as they turn around. Some people might call this creepy, we would rather just call it spooky.

Star Trek Car Seat Covers

We know you absolutely adore your ride, or have a love-hate relationship at worst – but we also know you would change it in a heartbeat for the USS Enterprise. Well, too bad: we’re not quite there when it comes to space travelling. It’s not all bad news, though, as your car can start giving off a great Star Trek vibe if you know just what to buy. That’s where these Star Trek Yellow Car Seat Covers come in, and man, we’re glad they’re not inspired on red shirts… that would be ominous.

Drivemocion LED Car Sign

Have you ever felt, while riding on the freeway or around town, that the ability to communicate with the cars behind you would really come in handy? So did the creators of the Drivemocion LED Car Sign, a device that displays a series of smileys in very clear LED that can be seen in broad daylight to express a variety of feelings for the driver behind you. Some of the included phrases are:

  • Raised hand, open palm, glance in rearview mirror: “Thank you for letting me in.”
  • Sweep of hand outward from body: “Go ahead, I’ll wait.”
  • Hands thrown in the air: “I give up!!”
  • Hands up, shoulders raised, head cocked: “I don’t know what to think of this situation.”
  • Middle finger extended: “You’re #1.”

We know most of these would have been useful for us at one point or the other.

Attack on Titan Recon Corps Car Decal

Here’s a little something for the anime fans in your life. Attack on Titan is one of those anime that comes out once every few years and makes even people who don’t regularly watch anime get incredibly excited and talk about it all the time – just like Evangelion or Full Metal Alchemist did in the past. If you’re among this fantastic series’ fans, you might want to display the Recon Corps logo in this car decal for other fans, so you can identify each other

LED Solar Tire Wheel Light Vehicle Decoration Warning Lamp

Here is a quick way to add some flair to your vehicle without having to spend a lot of money on shady places to end up with something that looks plain tacky. What you see here is 12 LED Solar Flash Tire Wheel Lights that store solar energy during the day, store them in high efficiency solar cells, and then use that same energy during the night to light up.  If you were wondering how to add some colors and light to your ride, this is the way to go.

Heated Steering Wheel Cover

If you happen to not live in the Southernmost states of the US or Europe, you might know how much of a problem the cold can be during some of the harshest months of the year. For those of us who would rather not dread the moment we put our hands on our car’s steering wheel, here comes a heated steering wheel  that completely envelops the drive wheel, making it a one of a kind product as most of them will only go halfway. Our knees appreciate the heat too, you know!

SuperTooth Bluetooth Buddy Speakerphone

Geeky things are fun and cool, but what’s most important is that you make it home to your loved ones – and part of that is understanding you just can’t drive while holding a phone to your ear. In the day and age we live in, having a speakerphone in our cars is basically essential, and out of all of them it’s the SuperTooth Bluetooth Buddy Speakerphone that is our favorite, for its price is relatively low, it can pair with up to two devices simultaneously and can just be clipped to the sun visor so it’s always accessible, whenever you need it. So take good care of yourself, and get one of this or whichever other model you prefer, but go and get one.

Bushnell BackTrack Point 3 GPS

Here’s a really cool gadget for those of us who have a thousand things on their minds and keep forgetting just where that darn car was. The Bushnell BackTrack Point 3 GPS will allow the user to “mark” just where exactly they left the car on a shopping mall or parking lot, so once they’re done doing whatever they went to do in the first place, they will only have to follow the arrow afterwards to get to their cars. This one gadget deserves particular praise for its fantastic screen, which is easy to read on almost any condition which puts it a step above from other alternatives.

Flux Capacitor USB Charger From Back to the Future

We seriously can’t believe we are on 2015, and that Back to the Future II got so many things right and wrong. Among those things it didn’t get quite right, there is the Flux Capacitor – instead of having to work and have to accelerate up to 88 mph to fire it up, this time it will fire up by itself and recharge your gadgets no matter how fast you go. There’s also no time-travelling involved, but hey, you can’t always get what you want. This Back to the Future Flux Capacitor USB Charger is completely lightweight and measures 2.5 x 3 inches approximately, while featuring two USB ports where users can plug any of their favorite gadgets for a quick charge while on the road.

Hello Kitty Car Accessories: Hello Kitty Car Mat & Car Wheel Cover

This one is for the guys and ladies who are into Hello Kitty, the cutest lady cat we know. Whether you like pink car accessories or feel like going for a more Japanese look. we got you covered with these Hello Kitty Steering Wheel Cover and Hello Kitty Utility Car Mats. Some might say these are some girly car accessories, but in this time and age, Kitty’s appeal is just universal, and hey, we’re not judging.

The 9 Best Noise-Cancelling Headphones of 2015

Noise Cancelling Headphones 1

Music lovers know what’s up: listening to music without the proper equipment is possibly one of the worse things that could ever happen.

Whether you love music, are a hardcore audiophile who won’t listen to anything but vinyl or a casual fan who enjoys spending time alone with the art of combining sounds, there is no denying that a good set changes your music listening experience completely. While a cheap par of headphones might be okay for a quick bike ride from home to the gym, a good set is basically essential if you really care about music, and out of all of the good sets its the ones with noise-cancelling features that are considered the absolute best. So grab your favorite CDs or Vinyl, FLAC or MP3s, and join us while we recommend some of our favorite sets and where to purchase them.

Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones

If you’re looking for devices that are top of the line and have nothing but the best performance, these Bose Quietcomfort Noise Cancelling Headphones is the closest you can come to perfection. We know this pair is quite more expensive than several other sets featured in this story, but once you try these, you will know exactly where your money went. The idea is that these headphones will help you isolate yourself, and tune the world out while you listen to some of your favorite music in perfect balance, The QuietComfort headphones feature Bose’s proprietary Active EQ and TriPort technology for improved sound along with the noise cancelling technology so you can choose whether you want music or some silence. If you end up buying this model, be sure to pic whether you want the version for Apple or Android devices, for they feature different jacks.

Sony MDRZX110NC Noise Cancelling Headphones

Sony are already renowned worldwide for their audio devices, and their headphones are some of the best in the market. The Sony MDRZX110NC is a very classic-looking set capable of delivering an excellent noise-free audio experience. This set can be bent, and features really comfortable cushions for a better fit, but the area where it really excels is at noise cancelling, for thanks to Sony’s technology, ambient noise can be reduced by up to 95 percent.

Noontec Hammo GO Headphones Noise Cancelling

When it comes to noise cancelling headphones, we usually argue that over-the-head sets are the way to go. The Noontec Hammo GO are particularly great for they come with external noise-blocking technology that you can activate or deactivate, depending on whether you need it or not. What’s more, the sound is great by itself as its built to keep a perfect balance between treble, mid-ranges and bass for natural transitions. This set is ergonomic, foldable, and can be adjusted for the best fit while also being sturdy and durable. Keep in mind, though, the noise cancelling features require an extra AAA to be turned on, but they will still work if it runs out regardless. These headphones are compatible with most mobile phones including those running iOS, Android and Windows mobile.

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones

The team behind the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones are so sure of what they are doing that they get very comfortable and technical. Their technology and noise cancelling features are capable of attenuating up to 32 dB of outside sound while remaining lightweight and comfortable thanks to its long cord and fantastic, ergonomic design. The earcups and headband are both padded for better comfort, but the best bit is that each part of those as well as the cord can be replaced for a better, long life, and if you travel around a lot, you know the cord is what first starts giving you trouble when you least expect it.

QY8 V4.1 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

Who says that all noise-cancelling devices have to be big devices covering your ears? For people who like working out, running, or generally don’t carry backpacks, purses or bags, when it comes to headphones is portability that comes first. Yet, just because a set is portable doesn’t mean you have to give up the noise cancelling features of all other devices in this story. This is where the QY8 V4.1 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones come in, a fantastic pair of headphones that are completely wireless and pair with your favorite devices via Bluetooth. What’s more, it can potentially connect with up to two devices simultaneously, and it’s not like this is useful for music, but if you’re the type of guy/gal that needs two phones simultaneously, this is the device for you – it even comes with a microphone built-in, so it’s like they thought of everything.

Beats Executive Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones

When it comes to high-end headphones, hardly any brand is as talked about as Beats is.The Beats Executive Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones are a pair of relatively expensive headphones that excel at what they do: provide the highest quality sound, completely unadulterated and interference free, to the point that they would please not only the casual listener but the audio professional who needs them to work at a studio. These are lightweight but sturdy, and can be folded for carrying, and feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with a custom EQ deliver to completely tune out the outside world. While several people around the web have given them a reputation for being over-priced, the truth is these are nothing short of excellent and give a recognizable brand and face to the product. Also, just like with Apple gear, it just works.

Golzer BANC-70 Bluetooth 4.1 Active Noise Cancelling

The Golzer BANC-70 are a pair of bluetooth capable headphones (that is, completely wireless) that feature a low latency chipset, which makes it one of the best options for mixing and editing either video or audio. Its high power battery assures that it works for some 40 hours just as a noise-cancelling device, but as many as 20 hours working at full potency. You can do a full charge in less than 3 hours, and enjoy its superior sound quality afterwards. Also, extra points for featuring controls on the outside so we don’t have to take out our devices for each and every little adjustment we need to make.

Sentey Headphones Stereo Warp High Definition

When it comes to good headphones, usually the hardest part is finding the right balance. Most high definition headphones don’t really feature decent noise isolation ear cups, or sometimes you just don’t like the bass. That is where the Sentey Headphones Stereo Warp High Definition make a difference, by striking a very acceptable middle in most aspects we can think of. It’s a wired set, but the cord can be removed. They are capable of some 40mW of sound and 32 Impedance, with some of the most comfortable ear cups we’ve ever tried. The noise cancellation isn’t active, but passive thanks to its tight, adjustable device, but the quality over-all is so good we can give them a pass this time around.

Alienvibes EP03 Headphones

Headphones don’t need to be ugly to be functional. These Alienvibes EP03 active noise cancelling headphones feature 53mm high definition acoustic drivers along with one of the sleekest, coolest designs we’ve seen because the way things look is almost as important a the way it sounds. Its active noise cancellation technology will clean up and filter ambient sound and outside distractions, while its ear cups and cushions will ensure that listening to your favorite tunes is a relaxing, comfortable experience. The noise cancelling features are completely optional, and users can choose whether they want them to be active or not at any given time, while its built-in microphone is perfect if your telephone is your audio playing device of choice, so you can take calls without even having to touch the phone itself.

24 Upcoming Video Games For 2016

Upcoming games 2016 Horizon Zero Dawn

We are not ones to get easily carried away by hype, but 2015 was a fantastic year for video games in general, so what is in store for us in 2016?

2015 will go down as one of the greatest years in video gaming history, what with The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Halo 5: Guardians, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Star Wars Battlefront and the long-awaited Fallout 4, so we are truly living in a golden age when it comes to digital entertainment. Yet, gaming has historically been about looking at the future, and wondering what comes next, so if you were wondering about what is to come, look no further. We have compiled here some of the greatest titles gamers will be able to enjoy across several platforms (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U). Here are, here they be, the X titles you should look forward to in 2016!

PlayStation Exclusives

Uncharted 4

The next Uncharted game might be the last, and Nathan Drake is going out with a bang. Developers Naughty Dog amazed the world with the incredible Uncharted 3, and even more with the lauded The Last of Us, and after taking a final look at Nathan Drake’s history in the compilation Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, they are heading to the epic conclusion of the story in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, In this title, the characteristic shooting and platforming of the series makes a triumphant return, and so will the fantastic cast of characters with hilarious one-liners that keep you engaged and laughing while you traverse temples, cities, nazi bunkers or caves while shooting mercenaries and even some monsters, all the while everything around the characters crumbles. Still, this is not more of the same, as the creators promised to get more into Drake’s personal life story, and tell more about his family and his older brother, Sam Drake.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

The team at Guerrilla Games, the dutch guys behind the Killzone series, are working on their first game in over a decade that is not a first-person shooter.  The product of this effort is Horizon: Zero Dawn, a game that seems to combine the cerebral combat with RPG touches of the Witcher, where preparation trumps skill, and the open world style of games that has become so popular in the last couple years. The game stars Aloy, a young woman with a bow who lives in a future where machinery and mechanic creations have replaced most animal life in the planet except humans, and humans live as hunter-gatherers, “skinning” these beasts for their canisters, fuel and metal parts. This is no mere sandbox, though, for it seems to have a great emphasis in the story, world, and Aloy’s journey, as to not become just a series of random points on a map you can visit. We are really curious about what will come off of Guerrilla, who so far have done nothing but war-themed games.

Persona 5

Persona 5 is finally dropping in 2016 after years and years of delays, ports, and expanded versions of previous entries of the series including Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, and Persona 3 Portable along anime series, movies and more. It’s truly amazing that such a distinctively Japanese tale of a teenager moving to the countryside in Japan managed to resonate so much with people and sell them on an obtuse game system, but so it has been, and now Persona 5, the next entry in the series is one of our most awaited games for next year. In the next title, we’ll apparently control slightly older characters, and the game will discuss the things that hold people back with a more mature edge in a much bigger city. Frankly, we can’t wait.

The Last Guardian

After years of waiting, it is finally happening! Fumito Ueda and the rest of Team Ico are finally releasing The Last Guardian, spiritual successor to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, some of the greatest PS2 video games of all time. This game was originally announced in 2009 and has ever since been through development hell after the creators realized the game was simply too much for the PS3 to handle and decided to move it over to the current generation of consoles. Now, with the Ps4 firmly established as the dominating machine, Ueda appeared on the last E3 to announce we would be playing this title in 2016.

Shenmue 3

Another project long in the making, fans of the original Shenmue games had all but given up hope of ever seeing a continuation to the iconic Dreamcast series. Yet, on the last E3 the PlayStation team announced they would be collaborating with its original creator Yu Suzuki to create the next chapter in Ryo Hazuki’s story. After leading one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever and having the full power of the PlayStation team behind it, it seems Shenmue 3 will be a reality, and we will get to play it next year.

Detroit: Become Human

David Cage’s next outing will build upon a teaser trailer and tech demo from a few years ago, meant to demonstrate the power of the PlayStation 3. This trailer, Kara, amazed everyone for it looked absolutely beautiful and cool, and Cage (who is already famous for Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls starring  Ellen page & Willem Dafoe) has decided to build further upon this short story and tell the whole tale of Kara in Detroit: Become Human. This game is coming in 2016, and just like the precious games by this particular team, it will have all of the elements of an interactive drama with focus on character emotion.

No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky is a completely new series of video games by Hello Games, an indie studio who was behind the Joe Danger video game series. In No Man’s Sky, players will have the biggest sandbox ever created, a whole procedurally generated but fixed universe with several planets that players can explore, and invite their friends to.visit along with them. From dinosaurs to planets full of water to wastelands, players will never know what awaits in the next planet over unless they decide to go and visit – and the world is truly huge. This game is coming out in June 2016 not only to the PlayStation 4, but also to PC, so pick your favorite and explore a whole new universe that’s just waiting for you.

Street Fighter V

Street Fighter has historically been the go-to of fighting games, the one who always got everything right: the combos, the characters, the movement, the balance, everything. It turns out that 2016 will see the arrival of the newest game in the franchise, entitled Street Fighter V. This new entry in the series is coming out exclusively for the PS4 and PC (sorry everyone else), and will bring back the dramatic battles, the fighting and beloved characters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Blanka, Cammy and more that are already confirmed along with several newcomers. The age of Street Fighter IV seems to finally have ended, and we’re ready for whatever is to come next.

Xbox One Exclusives

Gears of War 4

After having the first game in the Gears of War series remade for its current gen platform, Microsoft is ready to look at the future of the franchise with Gears 4, or Gears of War 4, whichever title you prefer. This new entry in the series that redefined shooting and action in a third person adventure is returning and releasing for the first time exclusively on the Xbox One, a true mark of the times now that we’re leaving the Xbox 360 behind.

Crackdown 3

After years of silence, the Crackdown series is coming back with Crackdown 3 – It’s been six years since the last game, so no one can accuse the creators of milking the franchise! This new entry is the third one in this sandbox series, and will be a true next-gen experience by featuring destructible environments that are calculated by using the power of the cloud. This can only be achieved on the Xbox One, with its features that were so talked about during its launch period, so don’t expect to see this game releasing anywhere else.

Scalebound

Scalebound is one of those games that will make non-believers consider getting an Xbox One. This game is being developed by Platinum Games and Hideki Kamiya (the team behind Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, Transformers and The Legend of Korra among others), and is a new action-adventure game with RPG elements where its main character will tackle dragons, monsters, and all kind of beasts accompanied by a dragon of their own. We imagine that the core of the game, regardless, will be Platinum’s trademark stylish, beautiful and visceral combat.

Quantum Break

Quantum Break is a much awaited exclusive for the Xbox One that is coming out along with a digital live-action series. This third-person adventure will feature a lot of time travelling and things going wrong while players explore the north-eastern states of the US. Players will be able to take control of three different characters, each with his or her own set of skills, strengths and weaknesses. The concept sounds exceedingly fascinating, and has a lot of potential is only because of its sheer scope and ambition.

Recore

Recore is an upcoming action-adventure video game by Keiji Inafune (the guy from Mega Man, Resident Evil and Dead Rising). In this game, players will control a young girl who wanders the desert with her robot-dog-pet. This title seems to be all about action-adventure, discovery, exploration, incredible graphics and adorable characters, and will be coming out in the first quarter of 2016 exclusively for the Xbox One.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves is a completely new series by Rare (Banjo Kazooie, Viva Pinata, Battletoads, Perfect Dark, and all of the other games in Rare Replay). We don’t know a lot about this game except that Rare themselves have called it their best game ever, which is a pretty bold statement, and that it’s coming out in 2016.

Nintendo / Wii U Exclusives

Star Fox Zero

Shigeru Miyamoto has been hard at work on a franchise that is neither Mario nor Pikmin! This new game is called StarFox Zero, and it seems like it will drop all pretenses of action adventure and act instead as a true flying game, with transformable spaceships and large stages to explore, all of which hide several secrets. StarFox returns to its roots, and it seems it will look better than ever.

The Legend of Zelda

Whenever a Legend of Zelda game releases, it’s always a monumental event, and it seems The Legend of Zelda Wii U (which is a tentative title) will not be any exception. This game seems to be a re imagining of sorts of the first adventure in the series, where it was just link, a vast open world, and a quest to vanquish evil lord Ganondorf. This new game for the Wii U will probably have more of an emphasis on the story and the crazy cast that has become synonyms with the series, but it seems that the game as its core will be mostly Link uncovering secrets.

Multiplatform

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Adam Jensen’s next adventure is coming out next year with the title Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. This new game acts as a direct sequel of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the events of its dramatic ending (we’re wondering how they are going to solve the issue of the branching paths of the previous game!) , and keeps building up on the fascinating futuristic world where robotics are integrated in every day life.

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XIII Agito was recently rebranded as a main entry in the Final Fantasy series, and is now known as Final Fantasy XV. In this new, epic adventure players will get to explore a whole new world by travelling around it in a car with 4 companions (one of which is an exiled prince) who are trying to stop a war. This new game seems to have a heavy focus in bringing back the much missed exploration factor of previous games, but keep the heavy narrative of later entries.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

Another franchise returning after a long hiatus is Mirror’s Edge, the tale of Faith and life in a futuristic police state. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will act as a prequel of sorts to the previous game, and completely revamp Faith’s movements to make her more agile, stealthy, and able to transverse the open levels in many different ways. Apparently, EA have made sure the game can be completed without firing a single shot, so consider us excited.

Tom Clancy’s The Division

Tom Clancy’s The Division is a completely new adventure by Ubisoft, where players will have to survive in a New York full-swing into psychosis thanks to a virus that’s driving people insane. Your main enemies might even be other groups trying to take control, at that…

Doom

Doom, one of the most beloved games of all time is receiving its first new entry in the series since Doom 3, and in it players will get to traverse stages and fight off the hordes of evil with some of the most recognizable weapons in the video game world. The chainsaw is totally coming back, too! This game was first revealed on the last E3 conference, and while Bethesda have been pretty silent since then (we don’t blame them, Fallout 4 has just released), we are pretty sure they gonna do right by this classic series.

X-Com 2

X-Com is coming back! X-com 2 will be a game about managing bases and strategically fighting off alien invasions, Players will be able to capture alien technology, research it, and develop their own versions of it to fight off the invasors, all with improved graphics, animations, gameplay, and story with a more epic scope. This game is coming to PC first, but if previous entries are any indication, it won’t be long before we see this game on consoles.

Dead Island 2

The next entry in the Dead Island series is called Dead Island 2, and in it players will get to explore several Californian locations while fighting off hordes and hordes of zombies, all with a summer theme.

Dishonored 2

Bethesda are pretty busy! One of their next projects is the second Dishonored game, just titled Dishonored 2. In this new title, players will regain control of Corvo, but will also be able to control Emily, which hadn’t been possible in the previous game. Both will have a different arsenal and set of skills so players can choose which style fits them best.

The Star Wars R2-D2 Self-propelled Fridge

R2-D2 Fridge

We have seen many amazing gadgets and merchandising in the year of Star Wars, but few look as amazing as this R2-D2 fridge does.

R2-D2 has inspired a lot of cool things such as Talking R2-D2 Figures, R2-D2 USB chargers for our cars, R2-D2 DVD Projectors and even R2-D2 LED alarm clocks, but this is the first time we see such a cool twist (pun intended) on its design, as some Japanese inventors decided to turn it into a walking fridge. Meet AQUA, a product by Haier Asia, which is a fridge inspired by the likeness of Star Wars’ R2-D2 that also has the ability to self-propel. This fantastic prop was first announced in June, and is undergoing a reservation phase before it comes out in December at a price of ¥ 998,000 without tax (a bit above $8000 USD for us westerners). This might initially sound expensive, and don’t get us wrong, it truly is, but that is the price of having R2-D2 following you around and dispensing beverages or food for you wherever you are – and for such a novelty treat, it is just really, really cool.

AQUA is a complete replica of R2-D2 in life-like size, just as you know him from the original trilogy and prequel Star Wars films, and although it is far from being the first self-propelled refrigerator we’ve talked about, it definitely is the geekiest one we’ve seen, what with the Star Wars theme and all. Regardless, it’s a fridge especially prepared for drinks, and if it can hold drinks inside, you could show up on the day Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens premieres, pretend it is a prop and not pay for the movie theater’s over-priced drinks. Take that, system, who’s the Rebel now? This droid comes with a small projector its head which you can use to reproduce video via Wi-Fi from any Android device (well, R2 is an Android himself, so of course he’d be compatible!) so you could also record a message for your very own Obi-Wan or Princess Leia – you like who you like, we are not judging.

Let’s get technical for a minute: the AQUA has a body size of 650 × 620 × 950mm while weighing about 55kg – that is, if it’s empty. The body exterior is made out of ABS resin, with a stainless steel skeleton underneath and zinc die-cast for extra durability.

It can fit some 6 350ml cans simultaneously while keeping their temperature at some 7 ± 3 degrees (with ambient temperature being around 25 degrees), so it’s not the most powerful or efficient fridge in the world, but this is all about the novelty. Furthermore, it would be kind of unrealistic to expect a powerful fridge running around you, wouldn’t it? You can see R2-D2 in action in video form right below these lines, when it was introduced to cheering audiences.

PlayStation Experience 2015 Rumors, News & Predictions!

PlayStation Experience 2015 rumors 1

The PlayStation Experience 2015 is happening in December, and the company will attempt to show the world why it is the best selling console this generation. What will they show exactly, no one knows, but here are a few predictions (some bolder than others) that we wanted to share with you.

The PlayStation 4 has become an incredible success ever since its release in late 2013, and ever since then it has become one of the fastest selling consoles in history with its closest competitors, Microsoft’s Xbox One and Nintendo’s Wii U lagging behind by an ample margin. It would seem the PlayStation team wants to top off a fantastic year with many announcements, releases and features in their exclusive event, the PlayStation Experience, and these are some of the things we imagine they will talk about, showcase or mention.

Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is probably the most awaited PS4 game right now, and after seeing what a great reception Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection had, we imagine fans are more hyped than ever. Developers Naughty Dog have a history of creating hit after hit for its parent company, and there is no reason to think Uncharted 4 will be any less than that. Our prediction is a new, playable demo along with a new trailer to complement what we have already seen.

PlayStation VR

We are calling it: 2016 is going to be the year where virtual reality finally explodes, and PlayStation would have to be out of its mind to stay out of it when they already have PlayStation VR in a working state and a plethora of games to showcase it. Thanks to games like London Heist, Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, Dreams and many other games of all kinds, we predict a big portion of the show being dedicated to this.

Dark Souls 3

PlayStation has shown its Japanese developers a lot of love throughout the ages, and now that the year is so close to ending, we can safely call BloodBorne the PS4’s most spectacular exclusive, the one that makes buying the console worth it. Riding on this success, the PlayStation team would be clever in giving a central spot to the upcoming Dark Souls III, the next game by From Software, and even announce some kind of exclusive content to go along with it.

Street Fighter V

Capcom announced a while ago that the next entry in the Street Fighter series, Street Fighter V, was going to be a PS4 and PC exclusive releasing in 2016. Being that this game is one of the most played games competitively, especially by the hardcore and competitive crew, we expect it to be a big presence. Also, producer Yoshinori Ono has been travelling the world just like a street fighter himself, so this would only be fitting with his convention schedule so far.

We have more predictions in the form of indie games, Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge, and many more, but first, we want to hear your opinions. Sound off in the comments section below!

Guy Creates A Working McFlurry Machine Out Of LEGO

McFlurry Lego Machine

Sweets and robotics are two things inherently geeky that all of us love, and when the two of them combine, then magic truly happens. Check this story to see what this mad genius created!

A YouTuber going by the name of Astonishing Studios understood that the best you can do with badass LEGO skills is creating something people will enjoy. This guy used a bunch of blocks, bricks and pieces from several LEGO sets to create a working McDonald’s McFlurry Machine, and that’s absolutely incredible. By adding the basic ingredients to it, it can not only dispense the freshest, most traditional vanilla icre cream but even has two separate compartments for toppings, namely M&M’s and Oreos, which are an essential part of the McFlurry experience. It’s just like the real deal, except you don’t have to drive through or (god forbid it) have an actual human interaction just because you want something sweet.

Throughout his video, which you can see right below these lines, Astonishing Studios explain that in order to build a machine just like this one, you need an abundance of pieces (namely, a bunch of red and yellow blocks because keeping in with the original is awesome and you don’t want to mess with the color gamma) and ingredients for the frozen dessert itself but the end result of all that hard work is nothing but delicious. Now this sounds like a fun little thing you could add on to the office and become sort of a local hero, at least when it comes to your work-mates, right?. We are not sure about how to work out the temperature part, but the coolness and novelty factor greatly trumps the practicality of the whole thing and impress everyone. Maybe keeping those on the fridge, and only adding them once you’re ready for a serve?

We have seen many incredible LEGO sets before (LEGO Superheroes Batman, LEGO Disney Princesses’ Elsa Castle, and even LEGO Minecraft, among many, many others), but this is the first time we ever see someone experimenting with LEGO and edibles, and what better choice than the McFlurry at that. McFlurrys already have a long history ever since being introduced in 1995, some 20 years ago, and quickly becoming a staple of the McDonalds brand thanks to its soft texture and delicious toppings. Combined with the science of Lego, they truly spawned a creation that should become a real LEGO set that could bring in tons of money for both companies, so here’s our plea to both McDonalds and LEGO to work something out. Seriously, we would totally buy this… and the rest of the office can pool resources to get the toppings, because this isn’t a charity, bro.

Now, where would one go in order to buy the plastic cups with the brand name?

Amazing Star Wars Posters Made Out Of Post-Its

Star Wars Post It Posters

Who says that there is no room for creativity at modern offices? A company in the UK had a very special decoration based off of Star Wars that we are now sharing with you.

As if they were creating intricate and beautiful pixel art, a group of employees decided to decorate their office walls with a Star Wars theme in a very geeky fashion, using post-it notes. The company is Viking from the United Kingdom, who is in the office supplies business, and they decided to recreate some of the most well known characters from the series as giant posters made completely out of their supplies.

In the year of Star Wars we are seeing the franchise get stronger than ever, with many new releases in video game, comic book and movie format, with Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens being the main driving force behind the entire experience. Yet, this is the first time we see such a loving tribute based off of doing something fun at the workplace, in true geek spirit and do-it-yourself fashion.

All in all, it took these guys some 3.597 post-its to recreate some of the most iconic characters in the series, with Darth Vader, R2-D2, a Stormtrooper and Yoda among them. All of these pictures were worked on by the team at Viking in a joyful community effort, which must have been way more fun than any motivational speech or activity than any boss could plan. In between planning and executing, this piece of art took some 5 hours of work, what with removing post-its and getting a better feel of the over-all picture. After the process was done, the walls of the office were then photographed and now we get to share them with you.

Being that each post-it us a perfect square, this style lends itself to pixel art and minimalist aesthetics, so each and everyone of the characters looks a bit simplified but still perfectly recognizable – this is a great way to remain faithful to the original depictions but also showcase some style and originality. We are particularly fond of the Yoda and Darth Vader posters, for they have the cutest eyes and happen to look great in this style too.

The team behind these posters also created a fantastic timelapse video where you can see them hard at work, putting each note on the wall by hand. The posters were created simultaneously, with all of them moving from one piece to the next one, and, well, we say the end result was worth all the hard work they put in. You can check out the video right below these lines. Which ones are your favorites? Let us know about them in the comments section.

The 17 Coolest Smart Home Gadgets

LG Smart Thinq

Our homes are getting more and more modern with time, and as our lives keep getting easier (albeit more expensive), we can’t help but look at the future with wonder and hope.

There was a time when we looked at Back to the Future 2 and wondered what 2015 would look like, and which ones of their predictions would come to pass. Turns out, the flashiest ones like self-lacing shoes or hoverboards didn’t (or kinda did but not really), but a lot of them (video conferences, instant food, and a few more) did. Still, despite all of this, what is most interesting is that most of the world today is filled with things director Zemeckis and his team wouldn’t even have thought about – the world of the Internet of things, and smart gadgets. The idea behind these is to automatize or ease tasks that are or were much more complex, and instead of having to do things yourself, have your home work to keep you comfortable instead. Read on to learn about futuristic gadgets and how they change and will keep changing our lives in the near future.

Smart Gadgets for Comfort

The really cool thing about smart gadgets and the Internet of things is the idea of automation, and to see how the house can make you more comfortable instead of you having to go around the place making sure that things are where they should for your peace of mind. Some of this gadgets might seem superfluous or unnecessary, but when you’re buying them, you’re buying a life-style of not having to care about the small things.

Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat

Smart thermostats can regulate the temperature of your home by detecting the weather outside and acting in consequence, keeping our homes in between whatever temperatures we choose. Users can set a max temperature, and a minimum one so it never grows too hot or cold. Furthermore, users can set the temperature from outside their homes with their respective smartphones, so the house is already warm or cold by the time they arrive. Out of all the gadgets that fulfill this role, our favorite is the Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat.

Flux Bluetooth Smart LED Light Bulb

With smartbulbs users can automate the color, intensity and even time lights go on inside their homes. Users can control from their smartphones how intense a bulb should be, configure shades, and even synchronize it with music, which is particularly cool in party situations. Also, bulbs can be grouped to perform actions together, and give your home a more cozy feel.

Funlux Waterproof Home Security Camera System

If you have this many smart gadgets at home, you probably will try the hardest to keep them safe. One way of using technology for that is using systems such as the Funlux Security Cameras. The system includes a series of HD capable cameras that can be controlled remotely by scanning a QR code, which is really easy to set up. Users can then control it with a free app that will notify users on their phones whether there is any movement thanks thanks to its Motion Detection system.

Sleepace Reston Sleep Monitor

The Sleepace Reston Sleep Monitor is, just like its name hints at, a smart sleep tracker capable of comprehensive sleep analysis and expert guidance for personal sleep. Basically, it measures how well you sleep and then gives you guidance to achieve better resting parameters. Nowadays, a lot of smartphones do exactly that, so you might consider those too, but having a separate sleep monitor means that you can recharge your smartwatch at night, and don’t have to wear anything on you when you go to sleep as this baby uses its own sensors instead. You just need to clip the Sleepace to your sheets, and let it do its job.

Samsung AddWash

The Samsung AddWash is the washing machine you dreamed of but didn’t know you wanted.  This baby is a fantastic washing machine that allows users to add clothes at any point of the washing cycle, so if you realize you need something right away, you don’t need to start everything from the top or wait until the cycle ends. The Korean giant has also promised that soft and delicate fabrics will be better cared for than ever, but the first bit already sounds more than promising. This washing machine is coming out in late 2015 in Europe, and there is no word on when it might come to America… but it totally should.

Amazon Echo

Amazon’s Echo is a device that responds to voice, as if it was a sci-fi computer from tv shows. The idea is that Echo should be able to answer your questions from anywhere in the room, get information for you, check scores of matches, play music, report on traffic, or anything else you might want by connection to the cloud. Echo can even keep track of your appointments so it’s even more like a companion and an assistant. In the end, you should think as Amazon’s Echo as a Siri that doesn’t drain your smartphone, and can help you automatize stuff at home.

Divoom Aurabox Bluetooth 4.0 Smart LED Speaker

Big stereos are a thing of the past, and now smaller devices offer just as much punch in a smaller package, with better fidelity. This baby is a bluetooth speaker that can stream media from any device of your choosing with some of the best bass enchantment technology in the market. The Divoom Aurabox Bluetooth Speaker features both iOS and Android compatibility, and third party music apps on top. This gadget is perfect if you are having a BBQ or small party and need music outside of the house, as you can stream whatever you like in great quality from services such as Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, and many other services.

Smart Kitchen Appliances

Smart gadgets have the capacity to ease our life, and not need us around as they automatically set things up, so we can get to our homes after a long day and only work on what we like. These are some of the coolest appliances for the kitchen.

Internet Refrigerator

A tendency for the future is creating fridges that are capable of tracking what food is stored inside them so you can check what’s for dinner without opening the fridge. What is more, the fridge will keep track of the food’s expiration dates, and let users know when certain meals just aren’t viable anymore. This is truly a new idea, and not many companies are on board with the concept yet, but Samsung, LG and Whirlpool among others are the first ones that seem to be experimenting with what are good features, and what is superfluous. Regardless, keep this in mind for the future, for if Google Express (Google’s groceries delivery service) takes off, it might be even more automated. Can you imagine that? Your fridge ordering food for you and robots delivering it? It really doesn’t get more futuristic than that.

Breville Quick Touch Microwave Oven

The Breville Microwave Oven is a fantastic alternative for users who have a more dynamic approach to cooking. This beauty’s main draw is its ability to let users change program, and thereforce power and time on the fly during the cooking cycle, with more than 10 presets to get the consistency just right. The smart part comes whn the Sensor IQ Reheat and Cook function automatically adjusts cooking time to match the food being cooked so users don’t have to read instructions and try to figure them out anymore. It even comes with the “A Bit More” button, a special feature which can add a little extra cooking time whenever it’s needed.

SomaBar

SomaBar is a robot bartender that will make drinks for you. Most of us can’t mix a drink for the life of us, so having a robot that prepares cocktails for us instead sounds like a fantastic treat. The menu includes some 300 different drink options which you can choose from (although you will need to provide it with the drinks before the magic happens). It’s not like this baby is absolutely life-changing like many of the other gadgets here, but it’s a fun, silly thing you can show to your guests, and then have some drinks afterwards. Kind of like a toy for adults, right?

Breville The Smart Grinder Pro Cofee Bean Grinder

The Breville Smart Grinder Pro Cofee is a dream come true for coffee fans, a machine capable of preparing the finest coffee while minimizing the grinding heat and thus protecting the essential oils in the each bean. You can make over 60 types of coffee from Espresso to French Press Grind with an electronic timer to program and find just the right moment for a consistent dose every time.

Smartphones & Personal Wear

Automating is the name of the game, and parting from that premise, smartphones are nowadays sort of the remote control for real life. Smart gadgets kind of need, as a prerequisite, to interact with these so users can control what is going on in their homes from anywhere in the world. Here are some of the most popular ones, namely the most modern smartphones running Android and iOS respectively.

iPhone 6s

The iPhone 6s, just like every iPhone before it, is the undisputed king among smartphones. With the might of Apple, its fantastic camera and iOS software, it has quickly become the most sought out phone in the market, and we can’t blame the masses. Its screen is fantastic, it is incredibly fast, and over-all works fantastically well, with the (really cool) extra that everyone in the app market wants to develop for it, so the world kind of revolves around it. Having an iPhone has sort of become a symbol of status by itself, but beyond that, it’s a fantastic phone that does everything incredibly smoothly.

Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung has been Apple’s fiercest competitor for years, and a true representation of the might of Android powered devices. Their latest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S6 was a major hit for them by bringing a fast, reliable phone to the table with access to one of the biggest app marketplaces ever, which only keeps growing in time. While other phones from other developers (LG, Motorola, Huawei) do really cool things on their own, it is Samsung who has configured themselves at the top of the Android world, and always shows the tech-world what will come next. What makes Samsung’s models special is their tendency to add their own spin on the Android software with a suite of exclusive but useful apps, and several customization options that are just incredibly neat. With Samsung, it’s not like one size fits all, but you can truly make the device yours.

Apple Watch

Apple jumped into the smartwatch market in full force with the Apple Watch, a wrist watch capable of running all kinds of apps and enhance your workouts and lifestyle. With this gadget you may check text messages, social media, and all kinds of webs along with performing a bunch of tests on the fly to let you know how fast your heart is beating, or whether you should stand up after sitting for a bit too long. This device works best when paired with an iPhone, and it’s already a smash hit amongst the health conscious consumers for all the things it can do for the user.

Motorola Moto 360

Motorola is the one that better understood the concept of a smartwatch and did something revolutionary with it. The Moto 360 is, just like the Apple Watch, a powerful wristwatch capable of running social apps and health related hardware and software to help the users lead better, more active lifestyles. There are several ways to control it, and you can use your voice or its fantastic screen to see whatever it is you need. It can do many things, but it is the Moto Body suite where it excels, and it helps you count calories, track your vitals, and plan your workouts so you’re always performing at your best.

Smart Cars

We spend so much time in our cars every day that one might consider them a second home. Even if you don’t, though, the point is that the innovation that comes from the “smart” lifestyle has already reached cars, and has all of the same staples and philosophy from its home counterparts: making life easier for the users, and providing a “greener” alternative to everyday life issues. If you’re looking for a more silent car, not spending money on gas and helping the environment in the most comfortable possible way, this is the investment you need to make.

Tesla Model X

Model X is a brand of cars by Tesla released last october, at least in the Fremont region in California. This new vehicle is a completely green alternative that balances both performance and environment for $132,000 USD. These cars can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds, but there’s even an extra option called “Ludicrous mode” for some extra $10.000 that cranks the dial to eleven, and brings the acceleration to 60 down to 3.2 seconds.

The model X also has some other interesting features. Thanks to its Tesla software version 7.0, it can drive itself or detect the user thanks to their smartphone so the car can unlock itself or pick the driver up from their home. Also, thanks to its sensors on the side, the Model X is prepared so it never hits other cars or objects on the side.

e-Tron Quattro

Audi’s latest concept is meant to compete head to head with Testla’s offerings, and hence the birth of the e-Tron Quattro concept, the first car by the company under the Aerosthetics concept, to the point of not having rear view mirrors and use cameras instead. This car has some 500 kilometers of range, a bit more than Tesla’s Model X, and was first introduced in Frankfurt 2015 Motorshow. This car is going to be released in 2018 and is going to be one of the cars that best balances comfort and performance. One more thing to take note of, the e-tron quattro concept is not a permanent name, and it name says, just a concept so far.
