Bum Chum Helps Drummers Get in the Groove
That drumbeat coinciding with your own heartbeat is the heart of every song in every rock concert. It is a delight to every rock fan, but little did we know that the drummer himself ain’t feeling it at all.

Ferrari teams up with Movado for the Scuderia Ferrari watch collection
After association with limited edition offerings like the Ferrari 430 carbon fiber, Logic 3 iPod dock, and the Red & Yellow dialed watches, Ferrari Scuderia comes alive another time with the Italian car maker and Movado’s collaborated watch series. Created after a joint collaboration between the Italian car maker’s sports team, and the Movado Group, these watches will be about high breed creativity and sophistication in appeal, both of which are closely associated with Ferrari cars. But the sad part of it all is that one gets to see these watches only at the Annual Watch and Jewelry Fair in Switzerland in 2013, making horological fans wait for a while to get their hands on these.
TAT7 Waterproof Case: Take Your iPhone Swimming, Surfing, or Skiing
Whether it’s to take your iPhone scuba diving, into the bathtub or just into the pool, the TAT7 Case will protect your precious phone from damage underwater. It’s an interesting case, that has some uses, especially if you live near the beach or like to go up the slopes to ski or snowboard.
The TAT7 case is waterproof down to 100 feet or 30m and fits either the iPhone 4 or 4S. It’s made to tackle water, snow, and high-altitude hiking with ease. The case itself is made out of a high density polycarbonate and stainless steel, and forms a tight seal when closed. One thing I like about the TAT7 Case is that isn’t as bulky as some of the other underwater cases out there. One of the biggest benefits of the iPhone is it’s slim profile.
While you can’t utilize the full touchscreen and controls when your phone is sealed away in the TAT7, the case does provide exterior pushbuttons which let you press the home button, and use the iPhone’s camera. The photo below was actually captured with an iPhone 4 in a TAT7 case on an underwater dive:
You iPhone should be perfectly safe in this case, whatever you end up doing. The TAT7 iPhone case sells for $84.95(USD) over on Amazon.

Motoi Yamamoto awed us with his salt maze floor installations. This month, he takes it a level higher, with a crumbling staircase, also of salt.

What I first thought to be a watch that mimicked a Nixie vacuum tube display is actually a strap to house your iPod nano 6G (and then just set the nano to its Nixie display mode). The Canadian-made N-Product Deckster looks quite distinctive and different from the other iPod nano watch straps that I’ve come across.
This is N-Product’s first watch design, and it’s made out of aircraft-grade aluminum. The casing features an eject function, that is reminiscent of an old cassette tape player. Unlike most nano watchbands, the Deckster allows you to easily remove the iPod nano without having to mess with hex screws other fasteners.
All nano functions are accessible through the casing, including the headphone jack and volume controls.
It’s available with either red or black leather bands. There’s also versions with a bike tire or innertube rubber band. While it looks great, the Deckster is not exactly cheap – with prices ranging from $150 to $165(USD). No iPod Nanos are included at this price.
