Deadpool Jack-in-the-Box: Merc-in-the-Box
Of all the toys that you could give your kid to either terrify them or make them laugh hysterically, the jack-in-the-box is it. But this version doesn’t have the creepy clown inside, it has Deadpool inside. I’m not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing for the little ones.
Naturally, the tin box he hides inside looks like a taco truck. When you spin the handle “Pop goes the weasel” plays. We’ve been assured he doesn’t swear when he pops out of the box though, so I guess it’s sort of kid friendly.
It’s a limited edition with 2,394 units to be made. Each one is individually numbered with a holographic sticker. This item is meant to be a San Diego Comic-Con 2019 exclusive. If all the units sell out, there will be no more. You can preorder one for $29.99 at Entertainment Earth with shipping expected in July.
Fallout T-51 Nuka-Cola Power Armor Helmet Won’t increase Your Rads
Fallout fans know that the only real way to survive the wasteland is to find some power armor and profit. ThinkGeek has got you covered with their exclusive 1:1 scale Fallout T-51 Power Armor Nuka-Cola helmet. Since it is a 1:1 replica, you can actually wear it.
The PVC helmet also has a voice modulator inside to make you sound suitably robot-like. It has a functioning LED headlamp and custom VATS sound feature. It’s listed as “one size fits most” and measures an impressive 24.5″ tall.
While the helmet is up for pre-order now, the final design is subject to change pending licensor approval. ThinkGeek will sell you one for $149.99 with shipping expected in mid-June.
Everyone Needs A Little Fallout Pick-R-Up
So at this point, we all know the last Fallout game, Fallout 76, wasn’t exactly all it was cracked up to be. That doesn’t mean you can’t collect some cool stuff that you might see in the Fallout franchise games while we wait for Bethesda to do better. Perhaps you’d like to add The Wand Company’s 1/18-scale die-cast replica of the Pick-R-Up to your toy shelf.
It almost looks like a ’50s era Chevy truck to me, but it’s unique with its over-the-top proportions and tiny one-person cab. It’s got a big bed in back for carrying around the goodies you collect in the wasteland, and its hood opens to remove a glowing blue, removable nuclear core in the engine. It also comes with an enamel pin to celebrate 5-years of service to Chryslus, as well as a technical guide pamphlet. It’s decked out in a sweet red metallic paint and rides on old school whitewall tires.
It’s not a cheap collectible at $99.99, but it is cool. You can order yours now at ThinkGeek.
All Work and No Play Makes Vinyl Jack a Dull Boy
The first time I saw The Shining, I was super creeped out by Jack Nicholson. It didn’t help that I was about the same age as the kid in the flick, despite the film having an “R” rating. My only solace is that I was able to torment my brother by crooking my finger and chasing him around the house screaming “REDRUM!”
Fans of the Kubrick classic horror, or those who just collect cool toys will want Funko’s Jack Torrance 5-Star vinyl figure. It has a cartoonish look to it, with Jack having a little blood on his scalp, and a suitably maniacal look in his eyes.
It comes complete with an ax for busting through bathroom doors and a typewriter that’s perfect for working out his writer’s block. Naturally, the sheet of paper sticking out has only one sentence written on it over and over… ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY.
The figure can be pre-ordered now for $10.99 and will ship starting this September from Entertainment Earth.

D&D Mind Flayer Trophy Head Plaque Slices Wallets
If you ever played Dungeons & Dragons and came up against an Illithid or the feared Mind Flayer, you know what difficulty lies in defeating the beast. You don’t have to roll a 20-sided die to capture this Mind Flayer and mount its head to your wall. All you need is a wallet with about 400 singles inside.
This Mind Flayer trophy head is made of foam rubber and hand-painted latex, and looks like something a hunter would hang on their wall. It’s gigantic at 25″ tall x 20″ deep x 20″ wide. You’ll need a suitably large wall to hang it on, and it will decorate thine dungeon (or basement) in creepy and cool style.
You can get your hands on the D&D Mind Flayer trophy head from Amazon for about $402.
