MetalCore Vinyl Door Decals: Hack to Open
Ever wanted to live in a futuristic spaceship just so you could have those cool metal doors on all of your rooms? While that might just be a pipedream, you can easily transform your current abode into a science fiction/video game set thanks to these new door decals.
The MetalCore series of vinyl decals can turn any interior door into something out of your favorite FPS or sci-fi flick. They come in four different designs, including Airlock, Freight Elevator, Laboratory Door, and Armory.
The door decals measure 32″(W) x 80″(H) and can be moved and remounted if you’d like. They retail for $99.95(USD) each but Gadgets & Gear is offering a pre-order special for just $79.95 if you order now. They expect to start shipping mid-August.
I’m not sure if these doors will keep your little siblings out of your room, or make it just that much more appealing.
Donkey Kong Wall Decals Are Worth a Lot of Tokens
Igor Chak’s Donkey Kong wall shelf is one of the best game-themed furniture I’ve ever come across, but I bet it will be very expensive if it ever becomes a real product. If you’re as strapped for coins as I am, don’t worry. You can still have the barrels stage on your wall thanks to Nintendo and Blik.
You can order the wall decal from Blik’s website for $65 (USD). They’re not that cheap either, but at least they’re officially licensed and reusable.

Super Mario Bros. Decorate the Wii U GamePad
While I’m still waiting for that killer app before I run out an purchase a Wii U for myself, you still have to hand it to Nintendo for the innovative thinking with their dual-screen gaming console and controller combo. If you’ve already got a Wii U or expect one under the tree this year, then here’s a fun way to adorn your controller.
I spotted these cool New Super Mario Bros. U skins over on Japanese game import site NCSX, and they look great. They really add life and color to the otherwise bland white or black Wii U GamePad. They’re made by Hori, and come in a set that includes both the Wii U controller decal and a decal for your regular Wii remote. They also come with a protective overlay for the LCD screen on the Wii U controller. I especially like the red/yellow/green/blue design – it reminds me of that old electronic game Simon.
You can pre-order these decals over at NCSX for $13.90 a set, and they expect to start shipping them around December 8th.

Superhero Family Car Window Decals
Your family is better than all those other families that put little family stickers on the back of their minivans, your family is super. So show it. Marvel Superhero Family Car Decals comes with 50 decals featuring Ironman, Captain America, Wolverine, and Spider-man. You get a Dad, Mom, boy child, girl child, cat and dog version of each hero.
Too bad there’s just female versions of the male superheroes instead of actual female superheroes. But still, that’s cool stuff right there. Assemble your own crime fighting team to display on the ol’ heromobile. Just super.
Rainbow Keyboard Stickers
Taste the rainbow. Or more accurately, type the rainbow. With the Rainbow Macbook Keyboard Decal, you not only protect your keyboard, you also awesomify it. Stand out in a crowd and customize the keys. Note that these are individual stickers for each key and not a single piece cover. Cool effect.

Ghostbusters Window Decal
It’s the retro geek friendly alternative to those little stick figure family decals people put on the back of their cars because you’re just a little bit cooler than all those other people. The “Nuclear Family” Ghostbusters Window Decal shows off all your favorites: Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore. And of course let’s not forget Slimer. They measure 8.75″ x 5″ and are made of kiss cut clear vinyl in black and white. Besides, who wouldn’t want to have Bill Murray stuck to the back of their SUV?
iPhone Glow in the Dark Wrap
Make your iPhone glow in the dark with a Glow in the Dark Wrap. What we like about this one is that the vinyl decal actually goes around the sides of the phone rather than the front or back, which should give it a pretty cool effect at night. It does take away from the sharp stainless and black look of the iPhone 4 but it’s usefulness might be enough override aesthetics for some people. Available in both Verizon and AT&T versions.
