I-O Data has showed off another one of its upcoming ultra-compact PC, the CLPC-32W1. Measuring only W46mm x D76mm x H15mm and weighing just 53g, this palm-sized PC is equipped with a 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8550 quad-core processor, an Intel HD Graphics 400, a 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 32GB eMMC.

Running on Windows 10 Home 64-bit OS, the device has a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x headphone jack and an HDMI connection interface (can be connected directly to the HDMI TV or display).

In terms of connectivity, the CLPC-32W1 provides WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR/HS/LE. The I-O Data CLPC-32W1 will start shipping from late March for 29,800 Yen (about $262). [Product Page]

I-O Data has showed off another one of its upcoming portable Blu-ray drive, the BRD-UT16RPX. Measuring W158mm x D220mm x H50mm and weighing 1.2kg, this portable Blu-ray drive is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection interface, BDXL support and M-DISC support.

Supporting Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 operating systems, the BRD-UT16RPX can deliver write speeds of up to 4x for M-DISC, 8x for BD-R (1 layer), 16x for DVD +R/-R (1 layer) and 40x for CD-R.

In addition, the BRD-UT16RPX comes with a burning software ‘Roxio Secure Burn Enterprise 4’. The I-O Data BRD-UT16RPX will hit the market from mid-February for 78,000 Yen (about $695). [Product Page]

I-O Data has showed off another one of its upcoming 23.8-inch Full HD monitor, the LCD-AD243EDS. Adopting an ADS panel, this new 23.8-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 14ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

Utilizing the ‘Blue Light Reduction function’ for reducing eyestrain, the ‘Flicker-Free Technology’ for ensuring a zero-flickering viewing experience and the ‘VDT mode’ to inform the continuous use, the LCD-AD243EDS comes equipped with 1x D-Sub and 1x DVI-D input ports.

Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WN-AC1167EXP comes with an AC plug (can be directly plugged into the electrical outlet) and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 867Mbps).

Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1167EXP provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES) and WEP (64/128bit).
