Hold all of your cords in one neat place with this Universal Docking and Charging Station. This oak plywood charging station holds up to 8 different cords of varying thicknesses and cable head lengths. It’s an all-in-one cable management system that is not only functional, it looks great. To charge a device, just select the cable and take it out of the undulating slot:
The whole thing measures 7″ by 8″ and is 3/4″ thick with felt feet on the bottom to prevent surface scratching. It almost looks like a ski hill for cables- but your cables have enough fun, they don’t need to go skiing. Uhhm well, that thought went off on an awkward tangent. Regardless, this docking station is simple, looks great, and keeps that tangle of cords nearly aligned.

Bloom Box Planter and iPhone Dock
It’s a power flower! The ceramic Bloom Box is both an iPhone dock (also fits Android devices) and a planter. Your smartphone sits on top and there’s an opening to thread your charging cable in. The hollow center of the dock helps to amplify your music, while the bottom has room for you to place some small plants (or other small objects). The attractive minimalist design gives you a necessary functional piece for your modern technology without standing out. Measures 5″ by 5″.

Chisel iPhone Dock is Carved from Wood
Check out this stylish minimalist wooden Chisel Dock, designed by iSkelter. Each one is handcrafted from renewable bamboo and has a cutout that perfectly fits your iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5, or iPad mini in either portrait or landscape mode. There’s a hole cutout behind the phone so you can pop out the phone.
The cord sits neatly in it’s own groove so it won’t get tangled. What I like about this dock is that it actually looks really good even when the phone isn’t in it. I’m sure someone who is handy with power (or hand) tools could carve out something pretty similar themselves but since it costs just $39 ($59 the iPad version) it’s not so outrageous that you have to go that route.
iPhone Tank Chargers
These custom made iPhone charging docks are chock full of badassery. Each hefty size charger is hand crafted by toy designer PHU and have the charging cable built right in. They look like something right out of Call of Duty or some other video game (if there were iPhones in the video game).
You choose either iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 versions. Here’s a rear shot so you can see how the cable threads through:
This kind of custom kick-ass-edness doesn’t come cheap, expect to pay $395 each for each one of a kind tank charger. Pick one or two up right here.
Klok for Dummies
Digital clock designs tend to be ugly and oddly difficult set up, but the KLOK is a fresh take on the digital clock/iPhone dock that makes things easy as pie! A single button/knob graces the front and needs only to be turned left to adjust minutes and right to adjust hours, then press once to set the time. To set the alarm, just readjust the time and press twice! It’s easy to remember, so you don’t have to worry about losing the manual!

Iron Throne Smartphone Dock: Game of Phones
Whether you’re a fan of the Game of Thrones TV series or the A Song of Fire and Ice novels or you’re just willing to admit that your smartphone rules over your time and attention, you’ll love this dock made by Instructables member mstyle183.
mstyle183 – for this is the manner in which the kingdom’s future blacksmiths are named – originally made the dock for himself, but rightly decided that other people might want one. Whereas he made the original using 3D printing, the docks he’s selling are made via injection molding. Each order is individually painted, though I kind of like its vanilla look.
You can order the dock from mstyle183′s website nuPROTO for $70 (USD). It’s compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5 and phones that have micro-USB charging ports at the bottom. Although I’m not sure if fatter phones like the Galaxy Note are fit to sit on this throne.
