ONKYO hits back by announcing their newest Android 5.1 tablet, the TA2C-74Z8. Measuring 10.5mm thick and weighing 640 grams, this mid-range tablet has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 HD LED-backlight display, a 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor, an Intel HD Graphics, a 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 32GB eMMC.

Not only that, the tablet also packs a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a microSD card slot, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, a micro-USB charging port, a micro-HDMI output port and a 7000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery.

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the TA2C-74Z8 provides dual-band WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 for connectivity. The ONKYO TA2C-74Z8 will start shipping from May 9th for 31,320 Yen (about $282). [Product Page]

Onkyo Digital Solutions is pleased to introduce their latest Windows 10 tablet, the TW2A-73Z9. Measuring 10.5mm thick and weighing 640 grams, this mid-range tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 AHVA LED-backlight 10-point multi-touch display, a 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 ‘Cherry Trail’ processor, an Intel HD Graphics, a 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 64GB eMMC.

Not only that, the tablet also sports a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, 1x USB 2.0 port, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x micro-USB charging port, 1x micro-HDMI output port and a 7000mAh battery.

Corresponding to the 5GHz band wireless LAN, the tablet sports a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 10-point multi-touch display, a 1.6GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, a Mali-400 MP GPU, a 1GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, dual cameras (0.3MP front & 2MP rear), WiFi (up to 72Mbps), Bluetooth 4.0 + HS, a mini-HDMI port, a 6400mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Onkyo’s CS-255 docks your iPhone 5 for $300 this August

Onkyo's late to the iPhone 5 party with the CS-255 Lightning dock, but considering the company's history of quality we'll forgive it. It may be hard to justify that tardiness given the CS-255's $299 price tag -- somewhere between mid-range and super fancy -- given its lacking power compared to similarly priced docks. But hey, it plays CDs too! It's also worth considering that, for that much money, you could get one of the company's own home theater receivers offering much more power and flexibility. Of course, should you be interested and not an iPhone 5 owner, the CS-255 is also compatible with ... well, anything with a USB input. It comes bundled with two 15-watt speakers and hits stores this August.
