Pixel 2 Renderings Leak Highlight Sleek Design
The Audi of hoverboards
So, I covered the drone obsession in one of my previous posts. Now to focus on another one of the world’s biggest gadget obsessions. Hoverboards. Most hoverboards look fascinating only because of the technology behind it. They seldom ‘look’ beautiful. I guess we could say the same about any gadget. There’s always a time when design takes over to make a product look like it redefines standards of beauty in its category. The Axi2 is that design intervention in the hoverboard market.
Designed with fluidity in mind, the Axi2 looks beautifully organic, and therefore conveys a certain sense of aerodynamism, while giving the vehicle a premium touch. Much like the luxury car makers of today!

Moto Magic!
I guarantee you’ve never seen a mobile phone concept this organic and sleek. The conceptual Moto phone sure has a lot of technological boundaries to overcome, but regardless of that, it tries to set a new standard for smartphone design. In a beautiful bronze outer casing, the Moto phone looks like a pebble until the screen comes alive through the outer shell. Shaped like a ear, the phone makes the connection as a device with telephonic capabilities.

Bathtub = Thinner than your iPad
Yes. If you look hard enough on the internet, you’ll find the absurd. Now that’s not necessarily bad. Sometimes you’ll be surprised at how far you can go to redesign something you thought was done and over with. The Xtend is a portable bathtub. Yes. For people who want a luxurious bath experience while outdoors, the Xtend is a meager 7kgs heavy strip of metal that’s just 8.5mm. That’s 1mm thinner than your iPad. Never thought you could have a razor-thin bathtub, did you?
The Xtend, through clever design, opens up from a flat sheet into a full bathtub frame with a washable cloth lining on the inside. The legs, frame, cloth drapery, and even the attached faucet come together in a sleek (doesn’t get sleeker!) frame that you can carry anywhere. Just make sure you’ve got a water connection!
The Xtend is a recipient of the Red Dot Best of the Best award for the year 2015, and truly so, given its ingenious design and even more innovative design brief!
