Do you want the coolest DIY Wolverine claws? Then head to your freezer and eat up some popsicles stat! These Popsicle Stick Wolverine Claws are totally badass, and you can make them at home.


Sure, these are just popsicle sticks, but they are sharp enough to do some serious damage as shown in the video.They are made from popsicle sticks, toothpicks, rubber bands, paper, and some Krazy Glue. They are perfect if you are facing an army of balloon heads. Just stab and slash your way out.

Hydraulic Press Channel Meets Its Match

We have seen the gang over at the Hydraulic Press Channel smash everything they can get their mitts on. In their latest video, the team decided to see what would happen to some objects made from the fictitious substance Adamantium.

I won’t spoil it for you, but the steel press tools are simply no match for Wolverine’s indestructible metal parts. Obviously, this is a promo for the new Logan flick, but it’s really well done and quite funny. (Note, there’s some PG-13 language if you’re easily offended by F-bombs.)

I’m a Wolverine fan, especially a fan of the novels that follow Logan. My favorite one was Wolverine: Weapon X. If you’re a fan too, you should definitely read it.

Cyclops Visor Flamethrower: You’ll Burn Your Eye out, Kid!

I don’t know about you, but I was always taught to keep my face away from fire. Only an insane person would break that rule by wearing a helmet that shoots fire from right in front of his eyeballs.

Sufficiently Advanced’s flamethrower welding helmet is modeled after Cyclops visor from the X-Men. It shoots two lines of fire from your eyeballs for several feet, burning everything in it’s path. It is obviously completely unsafe and just waiting to blow up and take his head off his shoulders.

This is a terrible accident just waiting to happen. Damn this guy is crazy. But it is effing cool though!

DIY Burning Psylocke Psionic Blade: Telepyrokinesis

Last year, we checked out a lightsaber replica that used a stream of flammable liquid as a substitute for the blade. The Hacksmith had a similar idea for a real life version of Psylocke’s psi-blade. But because Betsy’s blade is wider and wilder than the Jedi weapon, its maker opted to engulf a katana in flames.

The Hacksmith made a flammable mixture that results in a long-lasting purplish fire. Then he drilled holes in the katana’s blade and threaded a wick around the blade. He then soaked the blade in his secret fiery sauce. He embedded a plasma lighter into the katana’s handle so he can light up the weapon on demand.

Do it with wrist-mounted blades and you have a Protoss variant.

Magneto Cake is Mag-Neato!

The cool thing about a Magneto cake is that it will attract a knife and cut itself. The bad thing is it will also attract all the other metal in your home.

This awesome cake may not look like Michael Fassbender or Ian McKellen, but that’s okay, it does look delicious. I must be metal, because I’m drawn to it. My stomach is anyway.

The first thing you notice about this cake is all of the amazing detail and sculptural work. That black, white, and silver costume looks awesome. Check out those pleats on the cape.

This cool creation is the work of Carla Puig who made it for Comicake 2015, an event where bakers from Spain, Mexico, and Argentina create comic-themed treats. She did a great job on the face too. This is one neato Magneto cake.
