Who cares whether you've been naughty or nice this year? Not UK phone and accessory retailer MobileFun.co.uk, that's for sure. Because the team there has been kind enough to pass along one shiny new Nexus 4 for us to give away (indiscriminately) to one lucky UK reader. MobileFun sells the latest in mobile tech all year round, but if Santa didn't give you everything you wanted, there's a good chance it's on sale over there, so do go check it out. Not until you've entered the competition by leaving a comment of course. Good luck!

The rules:

  • Leave a comment below. Any comment will do. Duplicate entries will be filtered out and discarded, so adding additional comments won't increase your likelihood of winning.
  • This contest is open to all UK residents -- aged 18 years or over! Sorry, we don't make this rule (we hate excluding anyone), so direct your anger at our lawyers and contest laws if you have to be mad.
  • Winners will be chosen randomly. One winner will receive one (1) new Nexus 4. Service does not come included with the prize.
  • If you are chosen, you will be notified by email. Winners must respond within three days of being contacted. If you do not respond within that period, another winner will be chosen.

We're guessing the wrapping paper is already back in your closet where it will stay till next year's festivities, but that doesn't mean more tech goodies are out of the question. Our holiday gift guide giveaway runs through December 31st at 11:59 PM ET, so be sure to leave a comment on each of our 14 guides. Great news! If you hadn't already heard, Daniel's entry for our 'Bring a Reader to CES 2013' contest won over our own staff, as well as the hearts of the outside world. We'd like to offer our own congratulations to every single individual who shared videos and cleverly-typed missives, as they were all very fun to watch and read, indeed. Tim Steeves is particularly excited to meet him at CES in a couple weeks, so check back then to hear how Daniel makes out with the team in Vegas. Now, we're afraid we'll have to let you go -- so much planning for his trip, so much planning.

Thank you for all the heartfelt replies to our previous letter -- it really meant a lot. As promised last time we chatted, we've done our bit by wading through hours of mostly great video to find just the right entrant to join us in Las Vegas for the next installment of the Consumer Electronics Show. We think we've found three great choices, so if it isn't being too forward, we'd like you to do your bit by pitching in with a single vote. You see, we're all at odds about which contestant should join us, so we want to combine your thoughts with ours and declare the contest won. We've given away a few iPhone 5s in the past, but this is the first opportunity we've had to hand out a GSM-unlocked version. Also known as the A1428 model, this particular iPhone will get you HSPA+ on any GSM network around the globe as well as dual-band LTE (for use on AT&T in the US and Rogers, Telus and Bell in Canada), and it's thanks to our friends at CloudOn for offering the chance. CloudOn is a free iOS and Android tablet app that lets you create, view and edit Microsoft Office files and link them to Dropbox, Box and Google Drive, so head on over to the App Store or Play Store to check it out. Before you do, however, leave a comment below to enter! We're bringing a reader to CES 2013 here's how to enter our contest!

Dearest Reader,

We hope you're keeping well during the inevitable bustle of the holiday season -- it's been so long since we last said hello. It's shocking -- shocking -- to think that the next installment of the Consumer Electronics Show is under a month away, isn't it? Ah, CES: bearer of sleep deficiency, malnutrition, questionable personal hygiene and a bevy of new technology at a pace not matched throughout the regular year. CES, of course, brings us to the letter you find yourself reading today: we'd really love it if you could join us this year! Now, before you start fretting about how you'll get here and where you'll stay and what you'll eat -- as we know you always do -- why don't you let us explain what we're gonna need you to do to get here?

We want you to show us and tell us via a three-minute video and with 200 written words why you'd like to (and why you deserve to) join us at CES 2013. Once you've buttoned that up, pop the text and a link to your video in an email addressed to us at ces2013contest *at* engadget *dot* com. The contest starts now and closes at 11:59PM PT on December 13th 2012. The winner will be flown out to CES in Las Vegas (arriving January 9, 2013 and departing January 11, 2013), put up in our team hotel, and handed $500 in spending money. Wait, wait! Don't go just yet, there's more: Verizon has also offered to sweeten the pot by throwing in a $100 gift card, a Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet and a RAZR Maxx HD handset, to boot. Now, for the fine print...

The rules:

  • The contest is open from 9:00AM PST on December 10, 2012 and ends at 11:59PM PST on December 13, 2012. That's right -- better hurry!
  • Contest is open to legal residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia), Puerto Rico and Canada (excluding Quebec) and 18 or older at time of entry. We'd love to invite you all to enter, but we're forced to insert the above rules due to varying legal ramifications.

In two days we celebrate a holiday in which the main theme (aside from gratitude) is "bigger is better."
