It infuriates me that people dirty the beach just expecting the tide to come in and clean the mess up. It’s a really sick way to behave. The Beach Cleaner is just a very handy tool to make the lives of the people who clean these huge coastlines clean.
Simply a dustpan with a perforated surface, it makes for easier cleaning, letting the sand pass throughand leaving the garbage behind. No nonsense, just smart design.

In the best way! As you might’ve guessed from the name, Not Only Dust is a handheld vacuum solution for picking up more than fine particles. Most mini-vacs get larger debris stuck in the mouth opening, but this features a dual compartment design that collects and stores big and small fragments separately without obstructing air-flow. Better yet, it’s reversible and can be used as a dustpan for even larger debris.

Cleanser is a multifunctional motorized cleaning tool designed to provide an effective way to unclog toilet bowls, sinks and drainage pipes efficiently. A total no-brainer for inexperienced users, the automated device features an easy-to-use extendable pipe for varying lengths depending on context as well as a roller mechanism for automatic extending and retracting the flexible wire back and forth.

One of the best ways to use the Fabric Assistances is when you travel. The device not only cleans and deodorizes your clothes, it also irons them. The appliance features an intelligent charging station that also includes a dispensing unit. One of the two chambers is for water, and the other is for deodorizing cleaning fluid.
The Fabric Assistances travel autonomously across the clothes while cleaning and steam ironing them. This project is shortlisted as the Top 35 entries for 2014 Electrolux Design Lab Competition.

To conform to this cushy lifestyle a state of the art servant for cleaning chores at home is more of a necessity than a luxury. The TODY features four arms that follows voice commands and cleans floors as well as fabrics. Think curtains, bed sheets etc. Using its 4 arms, it can climb, move and hang to reach areas like seats, curtains, windows and more.
TODY is a part of the 2014 Electrolux Design Lab Competition.

Attracto is an air cleaner that uses electrostatic attraction to trap the dust on its surface and then clean it. The reason why TV screens, PCs and electronic devices accumulate so much of dust is because they generate an electrostatic field, which attracts the dust. The Attracto is designed as a glass circular device that is powered by induction. It features two rotating blades that clean the glass once the dust is trapped
The central display is the control hub and allows you to change the intensity of the electrostatic field and the movement of the blades.
Attracto is one of the shortlisted hundred-odd entries at the 2014 Electrolux Design Lab Competition. You can vote for this or any other entry before May 16th.
