World’s Largest Super Soaker Breaks Record and Breaks Glass

It figures that it would be a former NASA engineer who had a hand in building the world’s largest Super Soaker water gun. It is so giant that this Super Soaker managed to break a Guinness World Record for being the largest on Earth. At 7 feet long, you can’t even hold the thing.

Engineer Mark Rober and his pal Bob Clagett over at I Like to Make Stuff collaborated on this huge water gun, that shoots at 2,400 psi and 243 mph. Watch it destroy a bunch of stuff in slow motion, which is always fun. Its stream shatters glass like it is nothing.

You’ll shoot your eye out kid! No really, you won’t have an eye anymore at all, so don’t point this thing at anyone’s face. Also, you’ll be soaked.

Weaponizing LEGO Bricks: You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out, Literally.

And you thought that LEGO bricks were painful to step on. Imagine getting shot with them. There’s a gun for that. Joerg Sprave’s latest creation is a custom elastic-powered gun that can turn LEGO bricks into nasty projectiles. Of course, he couldn’t just leave well enough alone, and added a nail out of one of the bricks. Ouch.

LEGO bricks have long been the bane of parents who unwittingly step into their kid’s room and onto those pointy corners. Well, wearing shoes around the house won’t help you here. I’m just glad that no one can buy this gun. LEGO projectiles are no joke as shown in the video:

You wouldn’t want to get hit with any of these bricks that he uses in this gun, and I certainly don’t endorse anyone trying to make one of these at home. Leave that madness to Joerg.

NERF Who? Go for the Beaver Blaster

So you want to shoot your enemies with foam projectiles. Sure, you could go for the latest and greatest NERF weapon, or you could just blast them with your beaver! Yep, this is an actual thing.

The Beaver Blaster can fire its simulated wood projectile up to 20 feet. Simply load up its mouth, then slap down its tail, and the ball goes flying. What could be more fun? Don’t believe me? Check it out in the video below:

So what sort of crazy people would make such a weapon? Well, this happens to come from the same guys who make weapons that fire marshmallows. Now why the beaver doesn’t fire marshmallows, I have no idea, but I guess you can grab one now and see what happens if you load a marshmallow into its mouth instead of its foam ball.

Mod Turns the NERF Rival Nemesis into a Bullet Hose

The awesome looking NERF Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K isn’t available to the NERF-loving public yet, but there is already a way to crank up the firepower. This mod takes the the 100 round, 70 MPH firepower, and cranks it up to 11. This gun is no joke.

LordDraconical’s video walks us through the steps needed to upgrade the blaster’s power source to a powerful 3S Li-Po battery, along with reinforcing various components to handle the increased output. This makes it possible to empty all 100 rounds in as little as 15 seconds. Yes. 15 seconds. This makes it capable of some truly amazing NERF carnage.

If you want to try your hand at it yourself once the gun becomes available, and of course you do, the video description has links to the parts you will need. Have fun collecting all of your ammo afterward.

The Judge Is a Gigantic Dart Spewing NERF Weapon

The other day, I talked a bit about a new NERF gun that shoot balls at up to 70mph. I admit there is something poetic about being able to shoot an opponent in the balls with a ball, but I still prefer darts. NERF has some new dart blasters that are coming at the New York Toy Fair, and one of them is the big beast called The Judge.

Yeah it’s giant with a massive rotating cylinder that holds ten sets of three darts. Because shooting a dude in the balls with one dart is never as cool as shooting him in the balls with three darts at a time. You can also get a Zombie Strike Dreadbolt crossbow.

All you need is a vest with wings on the back and an emo haircut to be just like Daryl. NERF also has an alien themed line and you can get the Alien Menace Voidcaster, which is basically a normal dart gun with a sci-fi look. The Judge will cost $60 (USD), the crossbow sells for $50, and the Voidcaster is $20.
