Hair blown, Mind blown!

James Dyson is one designer who pushes boundaries more than anyone out there. If there’s one designer you must look up to, it’s James Dyson and the culture he set up: To innovate alongside design, and like no other! Dyson’s name became a household one after they announced the Bladeless Fan, an appliance that used Dyson’s proprietary technology to emit a single stream of air while also multiplying it, by harnessing the air around it. It only made sense for that technology to see applications in other appliances. In comes the Dyson Supersonic, a hairdryer as advanced as its name. Using Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, the Hair Dryer is like no other, taking design and engineering to an absolutely different level.

The design reflect’s Dyson’s clean and crisp style. The magic lies in the signature hole that runs through the hair dryer design. On the technology front, Dyson left no stone unturned, with a motor so small, it fits in the handle, and so quiet, you won’t even notice! A microprocessor reads the air temperature 20 times a second to ensure that it remains consistent, boasting of a user experience that only Dyson can ensure!

Obviously all this comes at a price. The Supersonic is priced at which seems like a lot, but once you understand what has gone into making the world’s best hair dryer, maybe you’ll shell out the cash!

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Is Quiet, Powerful, and Pricey

Dyson is no stranger to making gadgets that are good at sucking, but what about gadgets that blow? Turns out they are pretty good at that too. Dyson has unveiled their new Supersonic hair dryer with the aim blow the competition away. And unlike their vacuum cleaners, it doesn’t suck.

This high-tech styling device uses a quiet and powerful motor, sensors and a microcontroller that checks the temperature 20 times a second, as well as Dyson’s air multiplier technology. The aim is to dry hair more quickly. It is also lighter and less awkward than other hair dryers since the design moved the motor into the handle rather than the head. It is nicely balanced because of this and more comfortable to hold.

It also has a more modern design. Women are going to love this device – though I’m not sure how many of them will pay $400 for a hair dryer.

Beyond a Blowdryer

Chances are the words “communal blowdryer” spark some less than desirable mental images from your last visit a hotel bathroom. Not cute! The OBLOW dryer solves many of the functional and aesthetic issues of current models with a cordless, minimal, wall-mounted, easy-to-clean design. That’s easy enough… but the heart of the system is its digital interface that allows users to play music, schedule a taxi, check flights, locate points of interest and anything else a traveler needs!

Hairy Situation

Hairfall is a common problem across all generations and gender. It is kinda highlighted when we brush our hair or use a hair dryer. Unruly strands breakaway and gather in an embarrisong pile on the floor, and many a times we don’t find the time to clean the mess. With the Vacuum Dryer one can easily remedy the situation. One end of the nozzle works as a hair dryer and the other as a handy vacuum cleaner. Awesome!

Twisted Hair Pleasure

The Twist is a unique hairdryer that features two shapes. Generally we come across the ‘L-shape’ dryer or the straight dryer with several hair-styling attachments. The Twist marries the two forms allowing you to switch from the “L” orientation to the straight, depending upon what angle you need to use for drying your hair. Clever design if you ask me, so let’s twist and shout!
