We previously heard that the Nokia Lumia Phablet would be announced in September, and now it would appear that we may have some more details on the handset.

According to a recent report, the Nokia Lumia Phablet will come with an updated version of Windows Phone 8, which will offer support for advanced features, like a 6 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Nokia Amber Update’s Doubt Tap to Wake Feature Not Coming to All Lumia Devices

Nokia officially announced that Amber update will hit all Lumia devices by the end of September and will bring and will bring a number of new features, and improvements. All Lumia devices will get similar features, expect from FM Radio which will not make its way to Lumia 620 because of unsupported hardware.

Nokia Regains Biggest Manufacturer Title in Finland, Improvement in Sales seen in UK and Italy

Nokia lost the crown of being the biggest smartphone manufacturer in its homeland long time ago. However, it seems everything changed with the introduction of Lumia devices. International Data Corporation (IDC) released some figures for Q2 2013 which shows that Nokia managed to regain the title of the biggest smartphone manufacturer in Finland with 36 percent market share. It’s not just Finland; Nokia is performing well in UK and Italy as well.

Windows Phone 8 GDR2 Update Rolling Out for HTC Windows Phone 8X

The unlocked version of HTC Windows Phone 8X already joined the list of devices that received the GDR2 update few weeks back. But it appears as the update is making its ways to various carriers as well. AT&T announced on their support forums that the carrier started rolling out the GDR2 update for HTC Windows Phone 8X. The update is sized at 207MB and can be downloaded over WiFi only. Once updated, the GDR2 update will change the OS version to 8.0.10327.77.
