Princess Bride Coffee Cup Helps You Build Resistance to Iocane Powder

I happen to think that one of the greatest movies ever made is The Princess Bride. I’ve seen it approximately 157 times over the years. One of the most memorable scenes is where the Dread Pirate Roberts has to match wits with a Sicilian. The trick was a resistance to iocane powder, leading to the death of the criminal mastermind and Wesley heading off to save Buttercup. If you want to build up a resistance to iocane powder too, you’ll need a drinking vessel, and this is it.

This Princess Bride mug holds 12 ounces of whatever and has Buttercup and Wesley on one side and Buttercup and the Dread Pirate Roberts on the other. Mostly this cup reminds me of how hot Robin Wright was in the movie.

Interactive Dragon Ball Z Scene Plays out on Coffee Cups

Must of us need at least one cup of coffee to fully wake up in the morning. In ample quantities, caffeine can give us the energy to help us create some really cool things. It must have been the caffeine buzz that helped inspire Japanese artist Shinrashinge to create this awesome Dragon Ball Z animation using coffee cups.

To create the scene, the artist drew on three stacked coffee cups with cutouts, that when turned, create an awesome comic book adventure.

He sure knows how to draw too. After a couple of cups of coffee, everything I draw looks like it was done by a kindergartner with a crack problem. So I’m in awe of people who can draw cool stuff like this. Pretty awesome.

Bevelicious!

The Bevel cup comes in a unique design. It has some neat acrobatic abilities that give it the power to stand diagonally, upside down; but that’s not what attracted me to the Bevel cup. The packaging for the cup was more of a driving factor for me, and knowing that the design group put as much effort into the packaging as they did with the cup, really impresses me!

Every product you see around you came to you packaged in a cuboid box. Which is okay. They’re easy to manufacture, they’re stackable…but they’re way too mainstream. The Bevel cup’s packaging takes a more egg-six-pack approach, but boy, does it stand out! The bevel design manifests itself on the periphery of the box, creating a 3-d printer-esque robust outer box that really highlights the cup’s outline. Also, an impressive way to sell the bevel story! This get’s my thumbs up!

Swang that Thang

For heating beverages without the need for external appliances, the R-CUP generates its own heat with a simple built-in rotating system. Within the cup lid, there is a rotating heating device. Swinging the ball drives internal rotation and generates heat to warm one’s drink. The unique swinging motion also keeps your hands from tiring!
