It looks like Nokia is about to launch another new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 625, and it looks like it will be headed to AT&T in the US.

The Nokia Lumia 625 was recently spotted at the FCC, the handset will feature a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing will be provided by a dual core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor.

Nokia Lumia 625 gets certified in China, packs 47inch screen

Well, what do we have here? According to China's official certification website (TENAA), this above is the unannounced Nokia Lumia 625. The handset apparently features a 4.7-inch WVGA screen with super-sensitive touch, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 512MB of RAM and 2,000mAh battery -- basically a lower-end model. While the listing only mentions GSM / GPRS and WCDMA / HSPA support, the phone supposedly includes LTE, and wraps everything in a unibody design that follows the attractive looks of its smaller cousin, the Lumia 620. In fact, the shape appears to match the RM-941 that passed through the FCC back in June. The device is expected to land in China at the end of July for 1,999 yuan ($325) -- just hit the source link below for more info.

US mobile carrier AT&T have now put the new Nokia Lumia 1020 up for pre-order. The handset will be available for $299 when you take out a new two year contract with AT&T.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will launch on AT&T on the 23rd of July, and the handset comes with the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile OS Windows Phone 8.

US retailer Negri Electronics has put an unlocked version of the new Nokia Lumia 1020 up for pre-order in the US, the handset is available SIM free for $735.50.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is equipped with a 4.5 inch WXGA AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, there is also a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor, there is also 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.

It looks like we have some details on the Nokia Lumia 1020 release date for the UK. According to mobile retailer the Carphone Warehouse, the Lumia 1020 wont launch in the UK until September.

You must be living under a rock if you don’t know what is WhatsApp. It’s a cross platform messaging service that allows users to communicate with your friends and family via 3G or Wifi. Currently, the application is available on all major mobile platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, and Nokia phones (running good old symbian).

WhatsApp for Windows Phone has received a lot of criticisms as it lacked development for this OS. The beta application was launched in April and since, it has been a pain for the Windows Phone users to use the application as it was full of bugs and errors. One of the major errors faced by users was related to the notifications. In order to receive notifications, WhatsApps users had to rely on a third party hack that affected battery life of the smartphones.
