Interbrand Values Apple as #1 Brand of the Year
Interbrand: Apple now most valuable brand, worth estimated at $98.3 billion
Coca-Cola's 13-year tenure as "Best Global Brand" is over, however the new leader shouldn't really surprise you. Apple knocked Penelope Cruz's favorite soft drink from the number one spot on Interbrands' annual valuation report, but after posting massive revenues time and again -- including a company-record $54.5 billion in January -- this isn't too startling. Cook and friends started their ascent at the eighth spot in 2011, and climbed to second place in 2012 before stealing the top prize in the latest list. Interbrand pegs Cupertino's brand valuation at $98.3 billion, which isn't exactly pocket change. Don't cry for the Sprite-maker though, it's still on the podium according to The New York Times, but behind another tech-powerhouse: Google.

Rouge Sucette is Coca-Cola-Flavored Wine
Love wine? Love soda? Even though the Rouge Sucette contains elements of both, there’s no guarantee that you’ll love it though. It’s a Coca-Cola-flavored wine by Châteaux en Bordeaux’s Hausmann Famille, and it’s going to be relesaed next month.
Rouge Sucette, which translates to ‘Red Lollipop’, contains 75% wine, 25% sugar, water, and a whole lot of cola flavoring. Of course, you could probably just mix wine and Coke in your own home, but it’s not going to be the same, that much I can tell you.
What do you think? Fun concoction or weird booze?

Concept Coca-Cola Can: Share Happiness…Literally
Coca-Cola is all about sharing happiness. So why don’t they turn these concept Coke cans into a reality to make that slogan applicable on a more literal note?
Ad agency Ogilvy & Mather Singapore originally came up with the idea of these two-part soda cans that can be twisted and separated into two. That way, you can keep one half for yourself and share the other with your best mate. The cans are currently being handed out by the “Happiness Trucks” that are making the rounds in Singapore, although they’re probably limited promotional cans which won’t be sold commercially.

The Science Behind Making Fresh Orange Juice

Juice production is full of variables, from weather to regional consumer preference, and Coke is trying to manage each from grove ...
