Princeton is about to launch their newest LCD monitor ‘PTFB/WYF-19′ for the mass market. Coming in both black and white color options, this new 19-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 2W stereo speakers and has a D-Sub port, a DVI-D port and a stereo mini jack. ASUS is preparing to drop another LCD monitor ‘PB278Q’ for the mass market. Adopting a PLS panel, this new 27-inch widescreen monitor provides 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. EIZO has unveiled another LCD monitor to its range called the DuraVision FDF2303W. Adopting the ‘Smart Insight’ technology to improve the visibility of the dark part of the input image, this new 23-inch LED-backlight (IPS panel) monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 7ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Dell has rolled out five new 2013 S Series monitors namely the 27-inch S2740L, the 24-inch S2440L, the 23-inch S2340L and the 21.5-inch S2240L and S2240M. The S2740L, S2340L, S2240L, S2240M are IPS models that provide a 7ms response time and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, while the S2440L is a VA model that offers a 5ms response time and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. All models feature Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 178/178 degree viewing angles and LED backlighting. The Dell S2740L includes VGA, DVI and HDMI ports, while the Dell S2440L, S2340L and S2240L come equipped with VGA and HDMI inputs. The Dell S2240M only provides VGA and DVI ports.
