It seems like Lego has come a long way since it started off as being just a fun pastime for kids. There is a whole different Lego world out there with artists and designers who, along with some brilliant Lego enthusiasts are creating models that often leave us speechless. And each one of them has their own choice of the ‘Lego world’ that they want to create. It has varied from popular action figures to alternate universes, movie franchises to bizarre creatures. Ever thought if those unused, auxiliary materials that lounge around could be utilized thoroughly for something better? If not, then here’s something that might edify you to do so. Some creative engineers at Dyson’s UK office recently used spare vacuum parts from around the factory to devise sublime toy race cars.

Interestingly, Dyson engineers were given a week or so to design vehicles made solely from Sir James Dyson unutilized, additional parts and then race their hodgepodge creations. If some resulted into prototype looking toy cars and makeshift go-carts, so others resulted into unique looking models. However, the toy race cars made from spare parts were fueled by the power they could extract from a handheld vacuum.

Although bringing leftover parts into usage isn’t that facile, the process nonetheless can open up several further possibilities. But to notify, this is not for the very first time when James Dyson employees have had participated in such competitions and used the company’s hardware. If you remember, the employees at Dyson UK office had also devised a hot air balloon using a Dyson fan heater (somewhere during the initial months of this year).

This does look like it is bordering on the line between the Zoids and the Lego, but that might not really bother anyone. This amazing Lego Steam-Dino is a creation of Mark Stafford and it comes with a battle story that will let you immerse yourself in the alternate world. The dino though is more than capable of holding its own in a battle and the best part of the Lego creation is that it is not just a still model. It can actually walk and seems pretty impressive when it does so.

Yeah, you would look at the snapshot and would assume that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be playing “Bond, James Bond” in the next big bond flick. Well, at least a Russian version of it. But do not let the nice suit and the decent tie fool you this time. The news coming in from Russia is that the President has given the go ahead to weapons, more specifically a gun that will enable its users to turn others into ‘zombies’. No, we are not ripping off an American plot and giving it a Russian touch, or even scripting the next ‘trash can-destined’ zombie movie. Mr. Putin apparently is indeed keen on making a ‘mind-controlling gun’ that will give its user all sorts of advantage in hostile situations.
