Onkyo is preparing to unleash a new Windows tablet PC called the TW3A-A31C79H. The device will sport an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 capacitive multi-touch display, a 1.80GHz Intel Core i7-2677M processor, an Intel HM65 Express chipset, an Intel HD 3000 graphics, a 4GB RAM, a 128GB SSD, an SD card slot, a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, a mini HDMI port and run on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (SP1) OS. The TW3A-A31C79H will start shipping from mid-May for 134,800 Yen (about $1,660). [Onkyo]
Onkyo is back with its latest mid-range audio-video receivers, the TX-NR717 and TX-NR818. Designed for the home theater enthusiasts, both 7.2 channel network A/V receivers support the THX Select 2 Plus certification with enhancements to Onkyo’s exclusive WRAT concept. The TX-NR717 features Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz, as well as multi-channel expansion of stereo sources. It also uses Audyssey 2EQ for room calibration. The Onkyo TX-NR818 provides the audio calibration capabilities of Audyssey MultEQ XT32, three surround processing modes including DTS Neo:X, and Onkyo’s Dual Core Video Engine.
