Nokia Lumia 928 Leaked On a Billboard

We know that Verizon will officially announce the Nokia Lumia 928 later this month, we have already seen some leaked photos of the handset, and now the device has turned up on an advertising billboard which you can see in the photo below.

The Nokia Lumia 928 will come with a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, processing will be provided by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz.

Angry Birds Gets 100 Levels On Windows Phone

Rovio Mobile have relaunched Angry Birds on Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, and the new version of the game gets 100 new levels and also comes with support for Xbox Live Achievements and Leaderboards.

The new version of Angry Birds now also offer support for Windows Phone smartphones with 256MB of RAM, like the Nokia Lumia 610 and more and the game will be free until the 15th of May.

T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 Launches 27th April On HSN

T-Mobile has announced that the Nokia Lumia 521 will go on sale in the US through the Home Shopping Network on the 27th of April, you wont be able to get the handset at other retailers until later in May.

The T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone that was first announced back in February,  the handset comes with a 4 inch display that features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Nokia Lumia Press Event Announced For May 14th

It would appear that Nokia is getting ready to announce a new Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphone, as the company has announced it will be holding a press event in London on the 14th of May.

Nokia did not share any details on exactly what they will launch at their press event, but the invitation says ‘ The Nokia Lumia story continues’, which would imply that we will see a new Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 announced.

Tumblr releases app for Windows Phone

You can now scratch one more big name off the list of apps not available on Windows Phone. Tumblr has just released its official app for Microsoft's mobile platform (the latest version of it, at least), offering all the key features found in its iOS and Android counterparts with a distinct Windows Phone flavor. That includes the ability to swipe left and right to switch between the dashboard and "explore" options, and the option to add the latest images from your dashboard to your lock screen or live tiles. You can also rest assured that animated GIFs will remain animated while you scroll.

Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 To Be Announced May 22nd

Verizon has announced that they will be holding a press event on the 22nd of May, and whilst they did not give any specific details about what will be announced at the event we suspect it may be the new Verizon Nokia Lumia 928.

The Nokia Lumia 928 will be Verizon’s version of the Lumia 920, with some updated specifications, which will include a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.
