Metal Gear Solid 2 Raiden Nendoroid: Small Boy Unit

Jack? Jaaaack!!! Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid Raiden is ready to follow in the footsteps of his buddy Solid Snake. This collectible features Raiden as he appears in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, before he went cyber-emo.

Like Snake, Raiden is rare among Nendoroids in that he can go prone. He’s also armed with a pistol, an assault rifle and a cardboard box. But he’s also got his trusty sword, an alternate face drawn by MGS 2 art director Yoji Shinkawa and an alternate naked body, referring to one memorable part of MGS 2.

Unlike his fully clothed body, Raiden’s birthday suit has no points of articulation to keep his snake hidden. Amazon Japan also has an exclusive Zone of the Enders cardboard box for the toy.

Doctor Who Funko Pop! TARDIS is Smaller on the Outside

Funko really knows how to make geeks happy by creating collectible action figures from some of the coolest TV shows and movies out there. Funko unveiled a new collection based on The Fifth Element not too long ago, and fans of Doctor Who can now get their hands on a collection based on their favorite show.

The Pop! Doctor Who figures include the 10th, 11th, and 12th Doctors as well as the 4th Doctor. In addition to the Docs, you can choose from a Dalek, Adipose, Cyberman, or Weeping Angel. Of course, you can also get a TARDIS, which is the most expensive of the set at $14.99(USD). Each of other action figures sell for $9.99.

Kingdom Hearts Action Figures: S&M Mickey

I’ve never played the Kingdom Hearts video game or watched it be played so I’m not sure what the deal is with all the black leather and chains. All I know is that each time I see Kingdom Hearts Mickey in his black leather and shiny buckles I think of the Pulp Fiction “bring out the gimp” scene.

If you are a fan of the Disney x Final Fantasy crossover series, here is a trio of action figures from the franchise that you might want to add to your collection.

There are four action figures in the set, including Organization XII Version King Mickey, Halloween Town Version Sora with a Pumpkinhead key blade and two Jack Skellington figures. You also get his dog, Zero. The entire set is $39.99(USD) and is available now at ThinkGeek.

Attack on Titan POP Action Figures Protect their Necks

Funko has trotted out a series of POP vinyl action figures for collectors that are into Attack on Titan. There are four different figures for you to collect and they sell for $9.99 each at ThinkGeek. Most of the figures are the standard 3.75-inch tall offerings we are used to seeing from Funko.

However, the Colossal Titan towers above the rest of the action figures at 6-inches tall. He also has all those gross exposed muscles you know and love from the series. The other action figures include Mikasa, Eren, and Eren in titan form.

That titan form Eren is naked and jacked, but not as tall as the Colossal Titan. I’m never sure why titans don’t wear clothes, even The Hulk wears pants.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Return to SNL Weekend Update Desk… Sort of.

Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update is one of the great comedy franchises in history, and some amazing talent has sat behind the anchor desk. The show’s professional news mockers have included Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Jane Curtin, Dennis Miller, Seth Myers and Jimmy Fallon. But for my money, the sharpest ones were the brilliantly snarky and energetic duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. And now the two are coming back to SNL’s anchor desk – in a manner of speaking.

snl_action_figures_poehler_fey_1zoom in

Bif Bang Pow! has announced that they are creating a set of 3-1/2 inch action figures of the two comedians in their anchor suits, and they come in a box that opens up to become the iconic SNL Weekend Update desk. The pair, which will cost $29.99(USD), will not be easy to acquire, however. Only 2,400 will be made, and people attending the San Diego Comic-Con in July will get first dibs. You can pre-order yours from Entertainment Earth now, but if they sell out in San Diego, you’ll be out of luck. My prediction – if you’re not going to the convention and you want this set, you’ll be getting it off eBay for a lot more than 30 bucks.

Arrow and Flash Action Figures are the Coolest Thing from The CW

The only time you will catch me slumming it with any show from The CW is catching up on Arrow and Flash via Hulu. I like both of those shows and each time I watch I think how much cooler the Arrow is than Hawkeye. If you are a fan of those CW shows, some new action figures are here to take your money.

arrow-1zoom in

From Arrow you can get Arrow himself or Deathstroke. I really want Deathstroke to get his own series; he is my favorite bad guy. The 6.75-inch tall action figures each have 12 points of articulation.

Arrow has his bow, arrows, and a quiver as accessories. Deathstroke gets a pistol, katana, and a pair of knives. The Flash gets nothing but a geeky look and fancy red suit. You can get all three at ThinkGeek for $24.99 each.

Game of Thrones Figurine Collection for Tiny Westeros Reenactments

Game of Thrones fans can get their little grubby mitts on some new figurines from the show that will let you act out your Westeros wishes in a tiny form factor. These figurines stand 8-inches tall and are made out of non-phthalate materials.

got-figure-1zoom in

That presumably means some of those harsh chemicals aren’t used so you can play with these without growing a second head. The figurines are from Dark Horse, and right now you can get Joffrey Baratheon, Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish, and Tywin Lannister.

got-figure-2zoom in

The figure you see of Hodor and Bran will be coming soon and ThinkGeek will let you sign up to be notified. Each of the figurines will sell for $24.99(USD). Is it just me or does Tywin look a bit zombie-ish in the face?

Funko Futurama POP Vinyl Figures: Bite My Shiny Plastic Ass

Futurama fans can now get their hands on a set of Funko POP vinyl figures of characters from the show. You can’t buy up the whole crew, but a few of the main characters are here.

futurama-1zoom in

You can get Bender, complete with a bottle of beer and his shiny metal ass, Fry, Leela, and the Robot Devil. Bender was always my favorite character.

futurama-2zoom in

Each of the characters stands about 3.75-inches tall and have the beady black eyes (or eye) that you expect from a Funko POP action figure. ThinkGeek has each of the four characters for $9.99 each. Hopefully, we’ll get more of the characters soon. The world needs a Funko POP Zoidberg.

Breaking Bad Blind Box Titan Figures: Tiny Evil

I got off to a slow start with Breaking Bad and didn’t like the show when it was still on the air. I got really bored a few months ago and binge-watched the entire series over a month, and I really liked it this time around. If you are a fan of the series, check out these Breaking Bad Titans blind box action figures.

breaking-b-1zoom in

There are 16 different figures in all. Obviously since they are blind-boxed, you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump would understand. The whole gang is here…

breaking-b-2zoom in

The figures include Walter, Walt Jr, Heisenberg, Jesse, Jesse in a yellow jacket, Hank, Marie, Gus, Mike, Saul, another Saul, dead Gus, Walter in hazmat, Jesse in hazmat suit, the RV or even a Los Pollos Hermanos batter bucket. My favorite is Gus with half his face gone. The series is available now at ThinkGeek for $9.99(USD) each.
