Eizo has introduced another one of its upcoming LCD monitor, the ColorEdge CG246. Designed for professionals in digital photography, graphic design, video editing and post-production, this new 24.1-inch IPS monitor provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 7.7ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Not only that, the monitor also comes with a built-in calibration sensor, which corresponds to the auto-calibration in accordance with the schedule, and features a DVI-I port, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort and a 2-port USB hub. The ColorEdge CG246 will go on sale from September 11th for 159,800 Yen (about $2,045). [Eizo]

EIZO has recently unveiled their latest LCD monitor, the FDX1502N. Adopting a TN panel, this new 15-inch monitor (black and white color options) delivers 1024 x 768 native resolution, 700:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness and 160/140 degree viewing angles. It also has two built-in 0.5W stereo speakers and comes with a LAN port, a D-Sub port, two USB 2.0 ports and a stereo mini-jack. LG Electronics Releases IPS7 Series Monitors

LG Electronics has announced the availability of its premium IPS7 series monitors in Korea, China and Hong Kong. The monitor features the company’s Cinema Screen design with a 1.2mm (.025-inch) bezel, a maximum of 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a mobile high-definition (MHL) link, fast response times and color calibration software for professionals. LG Electronics will release the 23-inch LG Cinema 3D D2343P-BN and 27-inch LG Cinema 3D D2743P-BN in the Japanese market later this month. Both 3D monitors feature a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution with a 5ms response time, a 250cd/m2 brightness, a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 178/178 degree viewing angle. The LG Cinema 3D D2343P-BN and 3D D2743P-BN are equipped with a 2D to 3D conversion software that enables you to easily convert 2D videos into 3D.
