Toasty Mug Keeps Your Hands Toasty
Put away those gloves, at least while you have your morning cup of coffee. At first glance, the Toasty Mug looks like a conch shell of sorts, with its curved body and the hollow chamber. The latter is actually what gives this mug it’s very unique hand-warming feature. There’s no need for an external source of heat, because what will warm your hands (which are supposed to go into the aforementioned hollow chamber) is the hot drink that you’ve poured in the middle.
It’s different from wrapping your hands around a mug because the design ensures that your entire hand is kept warm and toasty. Just perfect for the season, don’t you think?
The Toasty Mug was designed by Sabrina Fossi Design, and remains as a concept design for now. If you know your stuff when it comes to pottery, then you could make one of your own.

The Coziest Mug Ever
The ToastyMUG is a design that makes you say DUH! The concept focuses on our natural tendency to hold our cold hands close to a coffee mug in order to warm them. The ergonomic, enveloping form of the handle keep the heat in so your both your drink and your hands are kept toasty. Now, tea, coffee and hot chocolate are all that more satisfying!

Stackable Brick Mugs for LEGO Lattes
If you work in an office where people are constantly stealing your coffee mug from the staff kitchen, here’s a fun way to keep all your mugs organized. You can stack numerous coffee mugs in these interlocking LEGO-like cubbies, giving each person their own little place to store their mug.
Each square ceramic mug slides neatly into its cubbyhole, and you can pretty much have as many mug cubbies as you want. Though I’m guessing if you stack them more than three or four rows high without some sort of sticky stuff to hold them against the wall.
Individual stackable mugs go for $19.99(USD) each, while a set of four sells for $74.99 over at ThinkGeek. While that’s not exactly cheap for a set of mugs, they’re definitely some of the cooler ones you’ll find. I guess you could always build a structure from actual LEGO bricks, and buy some of these.
Ceramic Ninja Mug: Drink to Your Stealth!
This ceramic ninja mug is all kinds of awesome. Your other mugs won’t even see it coming when it hits your cabinet. And when it does, it will quietly, but effectively incapacitate and kill your old favorite mug, hiding the broken bits of the body within that old souvenir mug way in the back that you haven’t used in like 20 years. Then he will wait quietly for when you need him.
This black ceramic mug comes with a tiny sword that doubles as a spoon, a removable throwing star base and a removable ninja mask. It looks like a dark ninja turtle – without the half-shell. Beware of co-workers stealing this mug though. It is that awesome. But if they do, I’m sure the mug will make short work of them and find it’s way back to you. It’s just $14.99(USD) from ThinkGeek.
Darth Vader Self-stirring Mug: Feel the Power of the Dark(Roasted) Side
Drink your morning coffee like Darth Vader. As in, don’t bother with a spoon and just use the force to stir your coffee. You will feel like a true Jedi with every Sith you take. See what I did there?
This is an awesome mug for us non-Jedi non-Sith humans since it will make us feel like we are using the power of countless Midi-chlorians to stir our coffee. You will almost feel the Force flowing through you as you watch that dark liquid swirl.
This Star Wars Feel the Force Self-Stir Mug will be your favorite mug ever. It is only $24(USD) from Amazon. As Yoda might say, “Stir or stir not, there is no try”.

Attack on Titan Tea Strainer & Mug Will Eat Your Tea Bags
Japanese hobby shop ACG will be releasing this hilarious tea strainer and mug combo featuring the Colossal Titan from the popular manga and animé series Shingeki no Kyojin aka Attack on Titan aka the Game of Thrones of cartoons. Because when you’re in Attack on Titan, you die or you die.
I’m not sure how the tea strainer works. Does the tiny Colossal Titan have a compartment for tea bags or tea leaves? Or are you just going to tie the bag around it? All I know is that we should be grateful that it’s not the Armored Titan in there, because the mug isn’t going to last long against that bad dude.
You can pre-order the Attack on Titan Colossal Titan Tea Strainer and Mug from AmiAmi for ¥1,780 (~$18 USD). Tiny face towel not included.

An Expression of Espresso
If it weren’t functional at all, I’d still be in love with the look of the Ois Espresso Cup. But it is. So I do even more. Its fine bone china nestles perfectly into the tropical wood saucer to stabilize the cup so you can move with it…. and what good is coffee if you can’t take it with you?

Tetris Heat-Changing Mug: Coffeecade
I know that this is probably sacrilege, but I actually was never that big of a fan of Tetris. It’s not because it wasn’t a monumental arcade game. Nope. It’s because I sucked at it. I’d start out strong, clearing lines with the best of them. But then, one difficult block would jam me up, and the death-spiral to the top quickly ensued. So my memories of the game aren’t very pleasant. But I still like coffee, so maybe I’ll buy one of these Tetris mugs anyhow.
Like many ceramic mugs on the market these days, the Tetris mug features images that change with the heat the beverage within. So while you can’t play an actual game on the face of this mug, at least you never have to worry about the bricks getting all the way to the top.
Want it? Get out a sleeve of 40 quarters, and pump them on into ThinkGeek’s coin box, where it sells for $9.99(USD).
How Hot Is Your Coffee? This Mug Will Tell You
How many times have you burnt your tongue when you took a sip of coffee that was still too hot to consume? In my case, I’d say it’s one too many. I hate the sandpaper-like feeling of a burnt tongue that makes eating and drinking uncomfortable for a couple of days. Of course, you can avoid this simply by checking the beverage’s temperature before taking a sip. Or you can just get one of these temperature-sensing mugs from Brando.
The mug has a built-in thermometer which measures the temperature of the beverage it contains. The temperature reading is displayed on the outside of the insulated container for the drinker to see. A heart also lights up in blue, yellow, or red, which will indicate whether the drink is cool, warm, or hot, respectively.
The mug retails online for $37.
