We’ve all experienced it: You’re working out and that damn key knotted on the drawstrings on your pants keeps getting lost…
Yup, it’s annoying and distracting. Even though pockets are great, they’re not so great when you’re engaging in athletic activities. But now you can eliminate that problem with the new Kickstarter campaign, PocketBands, a wristband with a hidden pocket.
The bands are great for when you’re running, surfing, biking, skating, swimming and other sports or activities you do where you don’t want to hold things in your pockets; simply stash away a key or some cash in the hidden compartment that each band features. But besides being functional, they’re also comfortable and pretty stylish, available in a variety of colors and patterns. They’re made using a stretchy, surgical-grade silicone, which makes them durable, water-proof, and pretty comfy to wear. You can get them in four different sizes (small to extra large) and in a bundle of 3 if you pledge $20 toward the campaign.

The final version of Firefox 19 may have just left the den, but the Mozilla team are already hard at work on the beta version of Firefox 20, which just came out for Android today. Notable new features include a new per-tab private browsing feature that lets you alternate between normal and private tabs within the same session, customizable shortcuts for the home screen and support for additional ARMv6 devices. The browser also now supports lower-end phones with the minimum requirements of a 600MHz processor, 384MB memory and a QVGA display, which includes devices like the Samsung Galaxy Pop and the HTC Aria. If you're a Chrome OS user who doesn't live on the bleeding edge, it's finally time to experience the latest version 20, which most notably adds support for its Drive cloud storage. Also mentioned as included in the upgrade is offline support of Google Docs, Pepper Flash upgrade, access to the new Aura UI on Cr-48 systems and other tweaks. Tighter integration with Drive and Docs may address a few of the issues noted in our review of v19, Chromebook and Chromebox owners can check it out as it arrives on their machines over the next several days and let us know if that's the case.

You got it. The latest version of Mac OS X is coming in a matter of weeks, and will set you back just shy of twenty bucks. If any of those new beastly, Ivy Bridge-decked machines made you reconsider your bank balance, breathe a (small) sigh of relief -- you'll be treated to a free upgrade if you decide to buy one before Mountain Lion arrives in July.
