QNAP has listed a new 4-bay Thunderbolt 3 NAS server ‘TS-453BT3’ on its product page. Aimed at media studios or small creative workgroups looking to greatly simplify their workflows, this 4-bay NAS server is equipped with a monochrome OLED display w/ two capacitive touch buttons, a 1.5GHz Intel Celeron J3455 64-bit quad-core processor, an Intel HD Graphics 500, an 8GB DDR3 RAM, 2x M.2 2280 SATA SSD slots and 4x 2.5-/3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD bays.

Supporting 4K media playback and real-time transcoding, the TS-453BT3 comes with 2x Thunderbolt 3 ports, 1x 10GBASE-T LAN port (pre-installed QM2 PCIe card), 2x Gigabit LAN ports, 2x HDMI 1.4b ports, 5x USB 3.0 ports (1x front, 4x rear) and a built-in 120mm coming fan.
