I-O Data has launched a new 6-Bay NAS server ‘HDL6-H48’ for the mass market. Aimed at medium business users, this 6-bay NAS server is equipped with a 1.86GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor, a 1GB DDR3 RAM and six 2.5-/3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD bays (w/ 6x8TB WD Red HDDs = 48TB).

Furthermore, the HDL6-H48 comes with a small LCD display for status check, 2x USB 2.0 ports (1x front, 1x rear), 2x USB 3.0 ports (rear), 2x LAN ports and 2x built-in large fans on the back.

Measuring W279mm x D222mm x H202mm and weighing 10 kg, the HDL6-H48 supports for multiple RAID setups including RAID 0, 5, 6. The I-O Data HDL6-H48 is available now for 598,000 Yen (about $5,565). [Product Page]

Powered by a 2.10GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor, the device is equipped with a 2GB DDR3 RAM, an optional 6TB, 12TB, 18TB or 24TB of pre-installed storage, six SATA HDD bays, 2x USB 2.0 ports, 3x USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and supports for multiple RAID setups (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 51).
