QNAP has recently unveiled a new 8-bay NAS server, the TVS-882BR-RDX-i5-16G. Powered by a 3.4GHz Intel Core i5-7500 Quad-Core processor, this high-end NAS server is equipped with an Intel HD Graphics (9th), a 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 512MB DOM flash memory, 2x M.2 SSD slots, 1x 5.25” SATA ODD slot for installing an optical disc drive or two slim disc drives, 1x Tandberg RDX QuikStor internal SATA 5.25” docking station (8813-RDX), allowing for installing removable and portable RDX hard disk cartridges and 8x 2.5-/3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD bays.
Furthermore, the TVS-882BR-RDX-i5-16G comes with 3x PCIe slots, 1x USB 3.0 port (Front), 4x USB 3.0 ports (Rear), 3x HDMI output ports, 4x GbE RJ45 LAN ports, 2x built-in speakers and 3x 80mm cooling fans (System Area), and runs on QTS 4.3 operating system.
