Avengers Pocket Watch Collection: For a MARVELous Time
There are thousands upon thousands of Avengers collectibles on the market, but here are some that I had no idea existed. What you’re looking at are the officially-licensed Avengers pocket watches. The series includes eight different watches, made to celebrate some of the members of Marvel’s popular superhero team.
Bradford Exchange will offer up pocket watches with logo graphics for Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man, Falcon, and Hawkeye. In addition, there’s a S.H.I.E.L.D. watch, and a handsome glass-covered wooden display case. It’s not clear what the watches are made from, but they have a cool 3D embossed look and a metallic finish.
My personal favorite is the Captain America design, since it looks just like his shield. I don’t know if it would stop a bullet, but pocket watches have been known to do that. The series will be released every month or so, at a price of $49.99(USD) for each watch, and the same price for the display case, bringing the total cost for the collection to just under $450.
Marvel’s Ant-Man Trailer in LEGO
You can create almost anything using LEGO bricks. And with a talented filmmaker and editor, you can make some cool movies too. Or as in this case, a cool trailer. It is the Ant-Man trailer recreated in LEGO, and it is awesome.
This trailer was created by Italian stop-motion animator and LEGO enthusiast Antonio Toscano. It is a shot-for-shot remake of the trailer for Marvel’s latest superhero film, made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Antonio did an excellent job. The shrinking part was especially cool.
I only have one question. How long until we can see a feature-length version?

Ant-Man Fleece Blanket: Bring an Ant to Your Next Picnic
I’m not sure what to make of the upcoming Ant-Man movie. Every time I go to the theater, they play a trailer for it, and I can’t decide if it looks like the lamest comic book flick ever or if it’s going to be cool. I guess I’ll have to risk a few dollars and a couple hours of my time in the theater to find out.
If you are a fan of Ant-Man who tends to get cold in the theater, you need this Ant-Man action fleece blanket to keep you warm. You just need to keep it out of the sticky goo on the theater floor. The blanket is plenty big to snuggle under, measuring 45″ x 60″.
It might also work well for picnics, but I’m not sure if it will attract more ants or not. You can get one at ThinkGeek for $24.99(USD).
