Bentley Limousine gets a sleek transparent roof to be your ride for life’s momentous events

Bentley takes pride in being one of the few manufacturers that hand-make their cars. But you probably already know that. So can you hazard a guess what in store for their future customers? Bentley plans to make the transition to plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles in 5 years from now. And finally, switch to battery electrics only by 2030. All this will happen while combining stunning design, exceptional craftsmanship, and thrilling performance, aligning with their century-old company policy.

With Bentley heading into new winds, the British marque will have new challenges maintaining its design heritage. It currently uses aluminum for its body panels which are painstakingly crafted by hand. And with it, the new materials will bring in new challenges. But we’re here to see what a future Bentley will look like, let the experts at Bentley figure out the technicalities of the manufacturing process. The concept behind this design, named Monument, is to rethink what defines an expensive automotive product. This clientele expects from this brand something unconventional, prestigious, and of course, the highest-end luxury market positioning. That is the reinterpretation of what could be a British limousine, a more relevant transition from classical tri-box segment towards new autonomous shuttles architecture.

As the luxury automotive market has evolved, we got rid of cheesy elements. Chrome has started to seem more flashy than expensive. Complex patterns that were made to justify the high price will no longer be needed in the future. Bentley is already a zero-emissions company at its Crewe factory and plans to be end-to-end carbon neutral by 2020. However, there will be multiple challenges to manufacture the new breed of vehicles. With large surfaces, fewer unique parts, and the ability to counter greenhouse emissions, this car will be a mechanical jewel. Aesthetically, this will be enhanced by its emphasized design lines.

The rear of the car is designed as a flat cut-out for aero efficiency. This will ensure a longer range with a single charge. The designer of this concept, Alexis Poncelet doesn’t seem to think the red LED stripes will survive the future trends. In the Monument, the tail light module works as a gauge that follows the braking intensity. This is in line with its semi-autonomous abilities and will help communicate with other cars on the road in a smart and elegant way. Honestly, these lights are the coolest things I’ve seen in a while.

Monument’s DNA is a dense and ghostly mass that merges walls and curvatures. The traditional shoulder topic is transferred into an evolutive side reflection that guides all the mass around rear occupants as a limo would. In its element, the Monument revises what our version of an iconic car should be like, carrying forward all the class and elegance of a limousine while giving it a futuristic look that will suit

This ultimate tiny home finds luxury in simplicity while traveling with you on your dream holiday!

We’re all getting a little sick of talking about getting away and escaping to our dream destination‒ the sandy dunes of our favorite childhood beach, the quiet of the forest, the rocky cliffs and summit of a mountain trail we can’t stop thinking about– instead of talking about it, we want to finally just do it, and do all of it. Building a caravan that also functions as a stationary home, the new Astella from Adria offers a new luxury mobile home experience reminiscent of 1950s luxury airline Pan Am, for the traveler whose dream vacation is as changeable as the wind.

Following a brief to design an inspiring, new luxe edition of the traditional holiday home and put it on wheels, Adria concocted Astella. With luxury in mind, less is more with Astella. In a similar fashion to the famed luxury of Pan Am cockpits, Astella features an open floor layout that hinges on a simple design to highlight sophisticated elegance. Inside, the mobile home is as expansive as it is clean and subdued. Adria aimed to create Astella with clean, focused lines throughout its interior to enhance the mobile home’s high ceiling and spread-out floor plan. Featuring a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, Astella manages to pack a lot of luxury in a small space thanks to its simplicity of design. Built to be ergonomic and intuitive, the simple layout of Astella was inspired by hotel luxury experiences that highlight the home’s functionality and simplicity.

Embracing the home’s open and smooth layout inside and out, Astella’s versatility extends to the panoramic glass doors that sweep across the mobile home’s exterior. Adria set out to create a mobile home devoted to connecting an indoor lifestyle with the outdoors, which culminated with broad, sweeping glazed windows that open up the night sky for twilight star gazing and wide-open sliding doors that dissolve the barrier between the interior and outdoors. Astella’s exterior facades were also devised based on aerospace industry standards, coating the silky shell of Astella and each rounded edge with a glazed steel finish shaped by the wind to permit plenty of airflow for easy towing.

Rounded edges and LEDs give Astella an understated sophistication reminiscent of a Pan Am aircraft.

Inside, the refined elegance of Astella finds an open layout and simple design.

Leaning on cues from the aerospace industry for a windswept, aerodynamic exterior finish, Astella is as efficient in tow as it is luxe on the inside.

Panoramic windows and doors open the indoors to the outdoors, dissolving the boundary between the home’s interior and the surrounding environment.

The aerodynamics-inspired build of Astella allows it to be towed with ease and a lightweight feel that moves with the wind.

Equipped with a kitchen that features a stove, sink, and preparation area, Astella manages to pack a lot of functionality into its simple layout.

A refrigerator, stove, oven, and sink fill out the kitchen’s inside.

The bedroom is spacious and benefits from the mobile home’s integrated heating features.

Panoramic doors bridge the outdoors with the home’s interiors for a seamless transition from the home’s cavernous feel into the great outdoors.

The Japanese-inspired Ghost Superbike is a Beast! Really!

Now, this is one good-looking bike. The creator of this concept, Cameron Bresn, has christened it The WOW 101 Ghost Superbike. Forgive my Japanese, but from the yellow Katakana characters on the bike’s fairing, it seems like he has also given it a not-so-secret nick-name – “Beast or Beasuto” if you want to get the Japanese pronunciation right.

The Beast clearly has its origin story set in Japan even though the Disney counterpart (and that oh-so-catchy ballroom dance song) features heavily on our minds!. Even the tires are made by Toyo, while the dimpled hexagon pattern on each tire doesn’t inspire too much confidence. Instead of those, we suggest the Hexonic tire concept by Hankook to elevate the bike even further! What I find most striking about this design is its oneness. All its components look so well-unified, which is usually an indication of a well-thought-out design that promises to deliver outstanding performance! Another element that seems to have originated in Japan is the handles that look very much like nunchuck handles (you cannot unsee it now).

Cameron has left the practicality of the bike where it belongs – in your imagination (or lack thereof). For instance, those footpegs look more like a commuter bike than a superbike. But who gives a damn! Let’s pretend they are winglets for aerodynamics and be happy! You can believe the bike will run well, at least in a straight line, and go faaaaast while you will definitely look cool while doing it. Just find a straight line of a road and stick to it as I cannot really imagine taking a turn on this bike. But every sin is forgiven when a bike looks so good…
