Heineken B.O.T. cooler that follows you is a summertime essential!

Summertime and a chilled can of beer are synonyms for that refreshing feeling. Sure, if you are someone who resonates with this notion, you wouldn’t mind a chilled beer cooler always by the side more often than not. But is it possible to lug a beer cooler always with you? Heineken’s cute little autonomous beer cooler gives you reason enough to think on those lines. Yes, the Heineken B.O.T. (Beer Outdoor Transporter) is a notorious Wall-E with fancy branding to always be by your side, delivering your brew chilled to the perfect temperature.

On first look, you can mistake this one for a mini John Deere mower with a missing front half. However, it can haul 12 chilled beers on its big wheels that virtually follow anywhere you go – giving the machine a charming personality. The tiny robot features four wheels, two big wheels, sensors, a brain running AI, and the capacity to hold a dozen cans in addition to ice. Owning this one will surely make you popular among buddies for its pure chill factor, literally. Heineken B.O.T. is an excellent example of how tech makes life convenient and differentiates from the tons of promotional materials available in the market! The video indicates the design can probably handle rolling on the grass at a park, and nothing running on more rugged terrain. It also shows a small screen and a speaker that allows the robot to greet its person!

Before you ask the question, when is this autonomous beer cooler be available to purchase. The bad news is, it’s only going to be the privilege of a few lucky ones. This limited edition beer cooler bot is up for grabs via a competition held on July 1st. Heineken will take submissions from interested people who like the idea of B.O.T. For now, there is not much known about the dynamics of the competition, but ones who love their beer will want to own this cute little buddy at all costs.

VW Bus Drink Cooler

vw bus cooler
You will not find a cooler cooler than this VW Bus cooler. This ice chest is a scale model of the classic split front window Volkswagen Samba van complete with eight panoramic windows and a two toned paint job that evokes the 1960’s. But instead of transporting a bunch of smelly hippies to a concert, a bunch of smelly surfers to the beach, or a bunch of smelly kids to little league, this bus transports fresh smelling beer.

It’s fresh smelling because the inside of this pressed steel bus has 3/4″ of insulation to keep up to two dozen 16-oz bottles cool on ice. A two foot long handle telescopes out so you can move the cooler along (or just pretend you are a tow truck). Unlike most coolers these days, this one actually has rubber tires for a smooth and quiet journey. A drain hole in the rear lets you keep it clean. Measures 36.5″ long by 17″ wide and 15.5″ tall.

eCool Refrigerates Your Beer Way Below Ground Level

eCool Underground Beer Cooler 01

Cellars have been used for keeping food cool for hundreds, if not thousands of years, so from that point of view, the concept used by the eCool refrigerator is not that new.

eCool is a crank operated cellar with a very small footprint, fact that makes it great for all type of backyards. Let’s face it, beer in the summer is like water in the desert, so making sure that it is served cool is highly recommended.

This compact refrigerator measures 4 feet (1.2 meters) in height, so if you listed “digging” among your favorite activities, eCool’s right for you. According to its developers, it would probably be better if you used a garden drill to drive a hole in the ground, but if shoveling is your thing, there’s no one who can stop you.

It provides enough room for 24 cans and doesn’t have to be dug up when the weather gets colder. On the contrary, once you dig up a hole in the ground and place it in, you can leave it there. That’s particularly great news if you live in a warm area where cold beers are welcome all year round.

Using eCool is pretty intuitive. After popping the top, you need to use the hand-crank to get a can to the surface. The same procedure is used when lowering a can in the ground, so things are rather straightforward with this gadget.

eCool is capable of chilling the beer down to the temperature of the surrounding soil, and since that differs from one climate to the other, the manufacturers of this underground beer cooler couldn’t have provided a precise number. Regardless of that, the beer will undoubtedly be cooler than above the surface.

If you found this interesting, then you’d probably be happy to know that eCool is already on sale and for $300 (approximately £178, AU$324), it can be yours! This underground beer cooler proves particularly useful if you get a lot of power outages in your area (case in which you should probably move out), or if you are a green head concerned about saving the planet. Also, if you’re somewhere in the middle of nowhere (a desert, maybe?), having some cold beer handy might prove useful!
