Power up yourself in stealthy geek style with the Super Mario Bros. Canteen. This flask looks like a vintage NES cartridge but actually holds tasty liquids of your choice. Sure, walking down the street drinking out of a game cartridge isn’t exactly the most secretive way of imbibing, but it’s definitely better than guzzling straight from the bottle. Plus it has a reusable straw, because that’s what refined people like you use.

This flask holds 5 ounces of delicious mushroom juice or whatever else Mario drinks (anyone know?). It has a rubber cap to keep you from spilling and fits in nicely to complete the top of the cartridge. Also includes a funnel to help you load up the cartridge without spilling. Wow that’s two ways that this flask is dedicated to keep you from spilling everywhere, I guess that really fits in with the theme of Mario being a plumber. Although Mario really doesn’t do much plumbing though, does he?

Here’s a new way to keep your mixed drinks really cold- with Iceliners. Instead of making an ice cube that goes inside your glass, this mold makes an ice cube that lines the glass. Ok technically it’s still in your glass but you get the point. It’s like drinking from an ice glass. Since the ice completely surrounds the drink, it gets cold fast and stays cold. Surface area! How does it work? Simply:

You place the IceLiner atop the glass and press around the rim for a tight fit. Pour water (or whatever) into the spout on top and water flows in between the IceLiner and the glass. Place your glass in the freezer and when it’s frozen remove the IceLiner and you have an ice-lined glass. You could prep multiple glasses ahead of time for a real “cool” time.

The foam insulator has gone digital with this Kickstarter project, the Koolernaut. The Koolernaut is a Koozie-like sleeve (apparently the term “koozie” is trademarked even though it’s in the common vernacular like Xerox or Kleenex…ugh) that has a digital thermometer to tell you how cold you beer is. And how cold should your beer be for optimal taste? Well there’s a handy chart on the back:

The Koolernaut’s thermometer activates once you insert a beer. It’s made of thick sturdy foam to keep your brew cold. There’s also a specially designed “ice puck” freezer pack that slips in underneath your beer to chill your beer if you need it. Does a beer koozie really need a thermometer? Probably not, but do we really need any beer accessories? Heck I don’t even need a glass, just pour it right from the tap into my mouth and I’m good to go. Regardless, we still think it’s a really cool idea and it could definitely come in handy for serious beer drinkers out there even if you’re just serious about cheap beer.
