At last, we have something appropriate to wear with our ugly Christmas sweaters. Check out the ‘Ugly Sweater’ colorway of Brooks’ Levitate 2 running shoes. Much like ugly Christmas sweaters, you are either going to love these or hate them. I lean toward the latter.
They come wrapped up in a tacky green and red package, complete with reindeer, Christmas trees, candy-striped laces, and even a couple of little jingle bells. If Santa wore running shoes this would be his choice. But we all know that Santa doesn’t run. Have you seen the size of that belly? He doesn’t exercise at all. He basically bench presses glasses of milk and Christmas cookies all night once a year and then falls into a coma for the rest of the year until elves wake him in November, so he can do the same thing all over once again.
To be honest I find most sneakers to be ugly these days, and these are no more ugly than the rest. These ones just have a Christmas theme. You could probably wear these all year long and no one would give them a second look.
