For too long have wallets been constrained by thick sheets of leather, glue, and thread. There’s little place in the digital world for thick, bifold wallets, when cards last for decades and lesser people are carrying hard cash around with them. The cards are secured in place using a silicone band, a signature detail in all of Dango’s wallets. If you do, however, want to carry banknotes, slide them right under the band and they’ll stay there no matter what. Split a watch into three key details, the face, the lugs, and the band, Dango’s watch comes with interchangeable parts, allowing you to easily build a watch the way you build an outfit…with care, consideration, and a sense of style. The Dango Watch’s dial comes in three different design variants. A minimal-yet-solid Trek variant for people who want a watch face that’s bold but not overdone; a more chunky, diver-friendly variant titled the Dive, that’s armed with luminescent dials and a water resistance of up to 200 ATM; and lastly, a variant for the serious wristwatch aficionado, the Chrono, with its three subdials, also including a stopwatch.

The three visual styles broadly cater to three different personas (although it’s highly likely that you could like more than one, just like me), but boast of the same ability to switch up bands and lugs. The Wallet for Mind plus Matter

With almost a decade since its inception in 2009, Kickstarter is beginning to complete a full circle, and in turn letting campaigners take their small fledgling ventures and turn them into large companies and brands. Pebble, Oculus, Bragi, these are just some garage projects that turned into Silicon Valley success stories and household names in just a span of a few years. We’ve charted the success of Dango too, that has gone from making really admirable money clips and multi-tools to making some of the most desirable EDC (every day carry) known to man.

Dango’s tryst with EDC started off with the Loop Hook that went on to set the footprint for the Dapper and the Tactical Wallets, two wallets that embodied the alpha-spirit in the concrete jungle. Their latest invention builds on the idea, and adds the one crucial element to the EDC that converts it from a survival kit to a creation kit. The Dango P01 Pioneer Bifold Wallet adds a specially designed pen to the wallet, along with a notepad to your everyday carry, making it a carrying case for commerce, contraptions, as well as creativity.
