You Won’t Believe How Much this iPhone Case Costs
Gresso is a high end mobile phone manufacturer, producing phones that cost as much as a low end used car. But if you’re not willing to give up your trusty iPhone and all those 99 cent apps you’ve already purchased for a $5000 phone, you can still add a ridiculously expensive bumper case to it. The Gresso Titanium Bumper is hand crafted and comes with a backing choice of genuine Italian leather or exotic crocodile leather.
Each one takes 8 hours to mill the titanium, then 4 hours of manual directional polishing before being assembled by a single craftsman (who probably has really muscular arms from all that hand polishing). How much would you be willing to pay for such a luxurious case? As much as the iPhone it’s made to protect? Not at all- it’s way way way more. These cases start at a mere $1000 and go as high as $10,000 (although I don’t see any models on their site above $1500 at present). It’s all about status.

Gresso Cruiser Titanium White Luxury Phone
Gresso has released the Cruiser Titanium White, a luxury cell phone retailing for… are you sitting down? … a mere $3000. Which is actually a bargain compared to their $5000 model. So what does $3000 buy you? You get a phone milled from a solid titanium slab. It takes 7 hours to mill, then is hand-polished by a craftman for a few hours then hand polished again in a 3-stage process to get the mirror gloss.
Each of the buttons is made from stainless steel and hand polished. That’s a lot of hand polishing for something you’re going to be tossing around with your Lambo keys in your pocket. At least you don’t have to worry about all your friends going out and buying the same phone, this Gresso model is limited to just 999 phones. As for features- it’s a bit limited. Let’s face it, you’re not buying this for the features- it makes calls and costs a lot- that’s all you need to know.
Gresso Cruiser Titanium Mobile Phone Chooses Looks over Functionality
Some people out there prefer a product that looks good to a product that has more functionality. There’s not anything wrong with that and if you are that sort of person and have a big budget for a mobile phone, Gresso has a new offering that looks pretty cool. The new phone is called the Cruiser Titanium.
The $2500(USD) phone is encased in a single piece polished titanium shell. That shell is milled in a process involving many steps including both machine- and hand-polishing. Even the buttons on the front of the phone are hand polished. Since the shell is made from titanium, it’s incredibly strong and able to resist dents and scratches. The display is also built to be durable, having been formed from solid tempered glass panels.
When it comes to functionality, the phone isn’t exactly high-end. It runs Symbian S40, supports Java apps, and has a tiny two-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone operates on GSM/GPRS and EDGE bands and has integrated Bluetooth 2.0. The phone has a two-megapixel rear camera, and you get a mere 30 MB of internal storage, but it does have a microSD card slot for expansion. But if you’re buying one of these, you’re not getting it so you can play Angry Birds on it.
