uKeg Is A Pressurized Growler
With the relatively recent growth of craft breweries and home brewing, growlers are also increasing in popularity. And while most regular glass growlers will get the job done, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement; they go flat once they’re opened, they let in air, which spoils your beer, and they don’t travel well. The uKeg pictured above solves all these issues. Think of it as a fusion between a keg and a growler, with a special pressure-regulating cap that fits 8-16g CO2 cartridges, so that your beer maintains carbonation at all times. Double-walled insulation also maintains your beer’s coldness when you take it out of the fridge, and a convenient carry handle makes transportation a breeze. The tap can be locked so it isn’t activated in transport, while a pressure gauge and visual sight dial inform you of how much beer is left and whether it’s pressurized to your liking. The uKeg comes in 64oz and 128oz sizes, and costs $99 and $129 respectively.
