Visible Warning Lights

P. L. P of Light or Road Construction Warning Lights are retractable OLED light belts that help cordon off areas on the main road where construction or an accident has occurred. Traffic cones and other warning lights are not as effective as we believe them to be. In order to make sure the workers’ safety is top-notch, this design combines OLED, retractable belt and solar energy.

  • The OLED provides a visible warning and division, which makes the motorists – drivers aware of the construction area.
  • The structure of the retractable belt allows it to be used in different situations (ex: Construction area, Road accident …..) with the flexible and faster assembly.
  • By using the solar panels, it provides the power for the OLED light.
  • This design provides a more convenient, eco-friendly, and safer road construction environment.

Light Direction In Floods

The Safety Light is a lighting system that kicks into action once the streets get flooded and are under water. As a thumb rule its safer not to use vehicles during this time, but these lights are meant for those folks who are simply stuck and need to move out of harm’s way. The design combines LED, an H2O battery and traditional Cat Eyes Road Studs.

Rain water activates the H2O battery’s energy to light the LED light beams, creating a road guide that can lead car drivers safely through flooded areas, reducing accidents during heavy rainfall.

Keeping The Waters Clean

I was watching this series on the television, which focused on a team of workers who helped clean the oceans, especially when ships go down or get damaged. I reckon these good people can do with the Bio-Cleaner 2; an innovative system that combines the technique of Robot Snake and Shewanella oneidensis (a specialized bacteria which breaks down metals) to solve the problem of the water pollution from the heavy metals.

According to the designers, the bacteria will generate electricity and clean water by the process of breaking down or decomposing the heavy metals materials. The electricity will provide the power for the Robot Snake to keep operating and the clean water will drain back into the ocean. The Bio-Cleaner2 is suitable for use in a fishpond, ocean, lakes etc.
