Jon Snow Rides This Game of Thrones Rhaegal POP! Figure

One of the more exciting parts the final season of Game of Thrones so far has been Jon Snow riding on a dragon. Before you get mad about spoilers just realize, the name of this toy itself is a spoiler, so don’t blame me. You literally have to stay off the internet if you aren’t caught up.

The Funko POP! figure has Snow mounted up on Rhaegal, complete with a frowny face. I assume the frown is because the dragon has lots of stabby bits, and is really hard to hang onto. Though death from falling off a dragon might be better than joining the zombie army.

The figure is up for preorder at Entertainment Earth right now for $29.99. It will ship starting this November.

Jon Snow Battle of the Bastards Statuette Knows Nothing

One of the best episodes of Game of Thrones on HBO was Season 6’s The Battle of the Bastards when Jon squared off against that junk-cutting off bastard Ramsey Bolton. After a hard-fought battle, and help from the Knights of the Vale, the Starks won, and eventually, Ramsey met a nasty end.

Fans of the series will want to check out this statuette from Dark Horse Deluxe that shows Jon as he appeared in that fateful battle, wielding his sword Longclaw. The statue is made from plastic and stands 8-inches tall. The hand-painted statuette is very detailed, though I think the face sculpt is a bit odd.

Still, it would be great sitting on your knick-knack shelf or desk. You can grab one from Amazon today for just $22.49.

Game of Thrones Jon Snow Beer: Tipsy is Coming

People love HBO’s Game of Thrones, so of course the merchandising tie-in volume has been pretty heavy. You can buy GoT-themed Funko Pops, action figures, plushes, and much more. The latest entry vying for you to pay the gold price comes from New York brewery Ommegang who has partnered with HBO Licensing for their newest Game of Thrones-themed beer.

This beer is called “King in the North,” and draws inspiration from Jon Snow. It is the fourth and final beer in the company’s Royal Reserve Collection. It’s aptly named because after you’ve had a few of these, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”

It is described as “brewed to sustain a leader through a long, dark night, King in the North is a barrel-aged imperial stout.” Sounds good to me. King in the North will be available at Brewery Ommegang and select retail stores on Black Friday, November 23rd. The beer will be available both on draft and in 750ml bottles for $12.99 each. The beer will also come as part of a gift pack, which includes all four Royal Reserve collection beers and a Game of Thrones glass for $24.99.

The already existing beers include Hand of the Queen, a barleywine; Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, a sour blonde blend; and Mother of Dragons, a smoked porter and kriek blend.

Game of Thrones Jon Snow Backpack: School is Coming

It’s back to school shopping season already, even though it seems summer just started. I can’t believe it, but school starts back up in about three weeks in my area. That means it’s time to buy all the clothing, supplies, and other items that kids of all ages need for back to school. One of the things you will certainly need to get is a backpack.

This Jon Snow backpack is the best way to send your little bastard back to school. The backpack is black and made from fake leather and fabric. Above the side pocket is a printed Direwolf. The furry flap on the back looks like Jon’s cloak, and under the flap is the TV version of the Night’s Watch Oath.

The backpack measures 14″ tall x 11″ wide x 6″ deep. It doesn’t mention the ability to hold a laptop, so keep that in mind. The bag is $59.99 and available now at ThinkGeek.

So a White Walker Walks into the John Snow Pub…

Sometimes life is stranger or just as strange as fiction. Take this pub in London for instance. It’s the Jon Snow pub. You know nothing, Jo(h)n Snow…pub!

So you are enjoying a pint at the Jo(h)n Snow pub, imagining that it must be inspired by Game of Thrones and enjoying the symmetry of life when in walks a White Walker. He orders a pint too. Your mind is blown. What can you do but pinch yourself and look around for Tyrion and the rest of the gang, just to make sure you are not dreaming. Thankfully someone took a picture and posted it on reddit, because this really happened.

The pub is on the corner of Lexington St. and Broadwick St. in London in case you’re thinking of going there on a date with Ygritte.

You Know Nothing in Your Jon Snow Cape

If you are really into Game of Thrones on HBO or the books, you will be interested in this new outfit at ThinkGeek. One of the main characters in the series is Jon Snow, and one of his most notable accessories is his cape of awesomeness.

The next time you watch Game of Thrones, you could be watching it clad in your own Jon Snow cape replica. The cape is officially licensed gear and is great for cosplay. The fake direwolf fur shoulder area is removable and it is held on your body with a pair of leather chest straps. Sadly, it’s not available with the black “crow” fur seen in more recent episodes, but I suppose you could add that as an aftermarket mod.

The cape is 60-inches long from the shoulder to the hem. This isn’t some cheap dollar store Halloween cape – it weighs in at nearly eight pounds. It will also set you back almost $300 with a price tag of $294.99(USD).
