Godzilla Humidifier Improves Your Air with Monster Breath

Whether you have the heat cranked up during cold weather, or live in the desert or mountains, extremely dry air can be quite hard on your system. The best thing you can do besides gulping down buckets of water is to get yourself a good humidifier. And if you’re going to have to put a humidifier on your shelf or tabletop, it might as well look like Godzilla.

The King of the Humidifiers offers up a delightful mist to help improve moisture, and does it with style. Turn Godzilla on, and his theme music plays. His mouth also lights up to create a heat ray effect, which I assumed to be a cold ray since it’s blue. The desktop Kaiju will also alert you when his water tank is empty by making footstep sounds. Check him out in action in the video below:

All this Godzilla humidifying goodness can be yours for about $78 over on Amazon. I was able to find the same thing over on Ehobby Taiwan for just $1,899 Taiwan dollars, or about 62 bucks, though you’ll have to learn to speak Chinese if you want to buy one there.

This Godzilla Guitar Is a True Monster of Rock

Godzilla is one of the most iconic movie monsters of all time. We’ve seen the creature take all kinds of forms over the years, but I can say with a high degree of certainty that this is the first time I’ve seen Godzilla as an electric guitar.

The handmade instrument was inspired by Japanese musician Takamizawa Toshihiko of the rock band The Alfee. This crazy guitar, known as the The Alfee Godzilla Guitar Awakening Version, features a body in the shape of Gojira himself, made from alder wood, along with a maple neck, with an ebony fingerboard. It also has sweet purple LED lighting along its body and embedded in its fret board, and a head that looks like Godzilla’s tail tip.

Of course something this epic doesn’t come cheap. It sells for 5,550,000 yen – or about $52,486 US dollars based on today’s exchange rates. Only a limited number will be made, and can be pre-ordered over at the Godzilla Store.

I Need This Gigantic Godzilla in My Life

Do you like Godzilla? I mean do you REALLY, REALLY like Godzilla? Then you’re going to want to start saving your money for this epic collectible from the X-PLUS Gigantic series.

This monstrous PVC kaiju figure measures in at a whopping 38.19″ long, and 18.5″ tall, and will look awesome on your desktop or bookshelf – assuming you have the space for it. Maybe the dining table is a better option. I love the idea of a Godzilla centerpiece surrounded by tiny buildings for it to stomp on. This thing is incredibly detailed. Just look at those razor-sharp teeth and deadly-looking spiny bits down its back and tail.

Pre-orders start in Japan today, with the monster selling for 66,000 yen – or about $610 here in the U.S. It’s not available for pre-order yet, but there’s a good chance you’ll be able to get one from Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toy Store closer to its release.

Human-size Godzilla Statue Won’t Crush the City

Growing up, I watched a lot of Godzilla movies because they came on every afternoon on a local TV channel. It was cool to watch those movies, but what I remember most was that the costume was pretty cheesy and you could see all the latex flop around as the actor stomped around on top of scale models of Japan.

If you are a Godzilla fan, you can now buy a statue that is human size. Note that I didn’t say life size, I think a life size Godzilla would need to be much larger than this. The statue design was overseen by Yuji Sakai, the same person who oversaw the suit used in some of the films.

Despite not being as tall as a building, this statue is crazy expensive at nearly $40,000 – before shipping charges. It’s for sale in Japan and I will assume shipping wouldn’t be cheap to the U.S.

Flying Kauji Otachi Will Carry off your Jaeger

Back in March, a version of Pacific Rim’s flying Kaiju Otachi turned up that wasn’t in flight mode. A new version of that Kaiju has landed as a 7-inch action figure that has its wings expanded and is taking flight.

The coolest part is that the base of the action figure is designed to allow you to place one of your Jaeger action figures on its back like the Kaiju is trying to fly away with it.

The action figure also has a removable tongue to give it acid spitting action. If you own that other version of the Kaiju, the tail and throat are interchangeable between the two figures. You can get the flying Kaiju at ThinkGeek for $79.99(USD).

Tiny Hamster Is a Giant Monster

Tiny Hamster has evolved into a Kaiju and he will not stop until he has eaten everything in sight and stomped every building to ashes. It’s mayhem in the streets. carnage even. But cute carnage. Adorable even.

Seriously this hamster goes crazy, eating up the entire city. It’s brutal, yet adorable, yet so terrifying. This hamster is smashing trains, buildings, cars, even tiny helicopters that are battling it. This fun Tiny Hamster video was released to coincide with the release of his first book.

Check out the HelloDenizen YouTube channel for more hamster related fun, and if you see a giant hamster on the loose just give up. You are nothing but hamster food.

Pacific Rim Otachi Kaiju Action Figure Spits Blue Acid

Fans of Pacific Rim should be thrilled that so many action figures from the movie have been unveiled. We have seen mostly Jaeger action figures, however, there have been some Kaiju as well. The latest Pacific Rim action figure is a 7-inch version of the Otachi Kaiju.

The action figure has over 30 points of articulation including a fully poseable tail. It also ships with a removable tongue that shoots that nasty blue acid that could dissolve anything in the movie.

The action figure is 7″ tall and about 18″ long and is limited to a single production run, though exactly how many action figures are in that production run we don’t know. You can get one of these figures at ThinkGeek for $69.99(USD).

Toynami Retro Godzilla Action Figure: Flying Fist of Fury

If you liked the Shogun toys from the 1970s you’ll love this new Godzilla action figure from toy company Toynami. They have announced a retro Shogun Warriors Godzilla action figure that is based on the original giant toy licensed by Mattel during the late 1970s. Want!

The Godzilla figure stands about 19″ tall, which is tall enough to terrorize your smaller action figures and playsets. It features rolling wheels under the feet, a flicking tongue, and a right fist that shoots off toward Godzilla’s enemies. Man, I miss the shooting fists that my childhood toys had!
