Lego Millennium Falcon Racer: Way Faster Than 12 Parsecs

The Millennium Falcon is the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, so really, it should have a paint job that matches it’s speed. If Han Solo ever decided to start racing the old girl, he would need to make it look like a race car. And that is just what Joe Gan has done with his version of the Falcon.

He created this racing Falcon using parts from a Lego Technic Grand Prix Racer set. This is the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. Now it looks like it can do it in eleven, maybe less.

This ship looks great in racing colors. I just hope they have a good pit crew. This Falcon has been known to have its share of problems.

Millennium Falcon Playhouse May Not Look Like Much, But She’s Got It Where It Counts

Since you were a kid you have wanted nothing more than to sit in front of the controls and be in the Millennium Falcon cockpit. Admit it. Well, now you have no excuse. Build this Millennium Falcon Playhouse for your kid today. They may even let you be the co-pilot. Especially if you dress up like a wookiee.

Use Kyle Gilbert’s Millennium Falcon Cockpit Playhouse as motivation. It is just the cockpit. The ship itself would be massive. But that’s all you need for some fun and imaginative games anyway.

This awesome playhouse was created using MDF, PVC board, Bondo, and some junk drawer odds and ends for the dashboard. There are office chair wheels for knobs, silver-painted dowels for engaging the Hyperdrive and much more. It is a DIY work of geek art. Just seeing the images awakens the kid in me. I want to crawl inside and pretend!

Star Wars Aroma Ornaments: Eau bi Wan

Use the oils, Luke. Made with the help of Kotobukiya Japan, Library Design’s Bibliotheque Blanc Star Wars Aroma Ornaments traveled from far, far away to freshen up your room.

These are passive aroma diffusers made of ceramic. There are three designs: the Death Star, the Millenium Falcon and R2-D2. If you’re going to put these on display – and why not – Library Design suggests you drop the oil on the ornament’s hidden side because the oil may cause discoloration. Speaking of which, each ornament comes with 5ml of lavender-scented oil.

DIY R/C Millenium Falcon Mk. II: Return of the Smuggler

A few months ago, we checked out Redditor Olivier-FR’s Millenium Falcon and TIE Interceptor quadcopters. Since then’s he’s made a few more Star Wars-themed skins for his quadcopters, including an Imperial Star Destroyer, a Snowspeeder and now a bigger version of the Millenium Falcon.

Olivier-FR says his Millenium Falcon Mk.II is about 15% bigger than the first one. The body also appears significantly more detailed, and Olivier-FR’s cutting and sculpting seems to have improved. Keep watching until the end of the video to get a sneak peek at his next Star Wars quadcopter.

Chewie, you have a new home. Head to Olivier-FR’s thread on RC Groups for more details on his build.

Remote-Controlled Millennium Falcon Does the Kessel Run in 12 Millennia

I want to fly this radio-controlled Millennium Falcon so bad. Look at that badass bright afterburner. The aircraft was made by redittor Olivier-FR and it may not look like much, but it’s got it where it counts. Its builder made a lot of special customizations to make it fly well. It probably breaks down a lot less than the real thing too – which is good because who in this galaxy knows how to fix these ships?

radio_controlled_falcon_1zoom in

You can check out the R/C Falcon’s first and second flights in the videos below. The creator designed and built the whole thing from scratch. It just looks awesome and it flies pretty well too.

It also really looks like a UFO at night too, which is a huge bonus. I’ve said it before. Why can’t I buy things like this? Do you not want my money?

Star Wars Millenium Falcon Cake Pan: You Bake in That Thing? You’re Braver than I Thought

Smuggle yummy pastries into your belly with the officially-licensed Millenium Falcon cake pan. The silicone mold measures 10¾” x 14″ x 2¼, so there’ll be enough for you and your co-pilot.

Amazon priced it at $60 (USD), though it’s out of stock there as of this writing. UK store Lakeland has it for £16 (~$26 USD), though after shipping it should set you back around $60 as well.

It’s Out of This World: Millennium Falcon Area Rug

Millennium Falcon Area Rug

Regardless of how small your den may be, you can now fit a space ship in it–that is, if you have at least 33 square feet of vacant space. It’s not an actual space ship, of course, but this rug with the Millennium Falcon printed on it. The level of detail is pretty impressive, and the entire rug is cut out in the shape of the Falcon. If you’ve got some time on your hands, you can break out your tools and even turn it into a tapestry.

The rug is made from 100% polyester pile and is officially licensed.

The Millennium Falcon rug is available online for $100.
