A collaboration between JIA Inc. and renowned Japanese industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa, winner of the 2018 Isamu Noguchi Award, the Monolithic cookware series is one set you won’t mind leaving on display. Its form balances minimalism with softness, creating an approachable aesthetic that entices the user to cook more often. Highlighted by smooth transitions between the cast aluminum with iron finish and heat-resistant plastic handles, the 3-pan set looks as close to seamless as you can get. Matching utensils like a turner, skimmer, and ladle complete the handsome set. DO want!
One of the biggest challenges for me, when I’m cooking, is to time things so that everything is ready and hot at the same time. This usually means having two or three pans on the stove at once, and juggling back and forth between them. With the MasterPan Multi-Sectional Meal Skillet, you get five separate cooking sections on the same pan.
Cooking an entire meal has never been easier, cleaner, and faster than with MasterPan. Divided into five sections, MasterPan is designed with a heavy gauge bottom to distribute heat flow evenly so you can cook several items at once, all on the same burner. No more juggling burners and cooking times; your whole meal is right there cooking in front of you.
– Cook multiple items evenly & at once on a single burner
– Remove food easily thanks to non-stick coating
– Wash by hand or in the dishwasher–you’re still only cleaning 1 dish
– Consume your food more safely; no PFOA, heavy metals, lead, or cadmium added
It’s not quite the kitchen revolution, but at $49, it’s an inexpensive way to add a little productivity to your food prepping repertoire.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in the kitchen cooking over numerous pots and pans trying to remove lids, find a place to lay them down and making more of a mess than intended all while burning my fingers from the steam. We’ve all been there and have all found a way to just try and make it work.
Well fear no more, no more messy counter space, no more burned fingers, because now we have the LidSitter. The name says it all. The LidSitters awesomely unique design works with virtually all pots and pans and allows you to place lids, and other cooking utensils on the rims of pots and pans when not needed.
The LidSitter is made of a stainless steel wire-form and a nylon handle. Both materials are safe for both electric and gas stoves. Its even dishwasher safe! The spring style form allows for easy attachment to the top of the lid while securely holding it in place, you simply attach the LidSitter to the top and rest it on the side of the pan. All water, heat and stem is released back into the pan and away from counter space – so no more messy cleanup.
The LidSitter not only works with your pots and pans, but it can also hold your iPad, tablets or even cookbooks when not in use. Available in Black, Blue, Red and Yellow, you can even purchase your own amazing LidSitter too. I can’t wait to try this out myself.
It’s entirely possible that you stopped yourself from ever making any recipes that required sautéing, like many Asian dishes, because you were worried about ending up with all your food on the floor. There is a certain technique to tossing your stuff around in a hot pan, and we can’t entirely blame you for being afraid. But look at the Boomerang Wok! Doesn’t it make you want to give it another shot? The special cupped edge lets you turn food with a simple push of the pan, making sure that whatever gets tossed in the air always lands back inside. The Teflon-coated surface is non-stick, and the whole thing can go in the over at temperatures up to 320F. It’s a little on the expensive side however, at $133. At that price, we might be tempted to make an effort at actually learning how to stir-fry properly.
The Vacimi collection makes cooking a cinch with minor innovations that have a big impact. A few of these include a diamond pattern on the underside of each aluminum piece that helps to evenly distribute the flame from a burner. The glass lids feature a convent flip-top that controls steam and pressure with a simple press of the hand. Lastly, the stackable design makes better utilization of storage space in cramped kitchens.
The Vacimi collection includes a multi-pan, a 2-handled pot, stew, steamer and 2 lids for a total of 6 pieces.

This is one of those items that I didn’t even know existed or that I needed until I saw it but I can definitely see how useful it would be now. These Pan Scratch Protectors slip in between your cookware to keep them from scratching each other. Especially useful on those non-stick surfaces to keep them from getting nicked.
