Patriot Memory has just added a new storage capacity to its Ignite SSD line-up by announcing the 2TB model. Just like the 240GB, 480GB and 960GB models, the 2TB model is also built with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Phison S10 controller, TRIM support, SMART support and an MTBF of 2 million hours.
Compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems, this slim 2.5-inch SSD (7mm thick) comes with intelligent advanced wear-leveling function and ECC Recovery function @ 115bits/2KB, and promises to deliver read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 500MB/s, respectively.

Aimed at offering consumers reliable performance at a price that won’t break the bank, these entry-level SSDs (128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities) are built with TLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and a Phison S11 controller.
