This is actually a pretty incredible idea- frame your growing plants on the wall. The Picture Frame Planter, designed by Chiaki Murata has a small planter on the bottom section of this frame to plant seeds and grow plants. The plants sprout into the frame as if they are a living work of art. You can hang these on a wall or place it on a desk. Comes in two sizes ~12″ square and ~15″ square. The photo shows it with grass, but flowers would probably look great too.
