Corresponding to the SurfacePro3/SurfacePro4/SurfaceBook bus-powered operation, this travel-friendly DVD writer has a durable aluminum enclosure, a USB 2.0 connection interface (storable USB cable included), M-DISC DVD/CD support and a 1MB of buffer memory.

Supporting Windows Vista, 7, 8.1, 10 and Mac OS X 10.5 or later operating systems, the LDR-PMJ8U2V promises to provide write speeds of up to 8x for DVD+/-R/+RW.

In addition, the LDR-PMJ8U2V comes with an all-in-one software CyberLink’s Power2Go8 for DVD (writing), PowerDVD12 for DVD (play) and PowerDirector10 for DVD (video edit).
