Not everyone may be feeling the effects in their part of the world, but it is real—that we must prepare for the consequences of climate change anytime. Don’t be surprised if it gets too warm or too cold where you live because global warming intensifies yearly unless we do something significant about it. Before a massive solution is identified, you and I may need to look for ways to survive global warming and climate change.

So prepare by bringing a portable fan with you, as this will help you survive the sweltering weather outside. The STYLE Pocket Fan is one portable fan that can fit just right in your pocket or purse. It is inspired by a lipstick you usually find in every lady’s bag; however, this isn’t limited to the girls only because everyone needs a fan.

The STYLE Pocket Fan is one fashionable, portable, and practical personal cooling device– a handheld fan that is easy to carry and use—just like a lipstick because of its size and silhouette. And like a lipstick, you need to remove the cap off to reveal the blades and then put back the cap in reverse position to keep it in place for use. A small power button is found on one end near the transparent blades, while there is one USB-C port on one end with an LED indicator. It can be assumed the material is plastic, but we won’t be surprised if the main case is metal because it’s cooler.

With heatwaves blazing across the globe, staying cool is at the forefront of all of our minds. Whether you have air conditioning or not, having an extra blast of fresh, cool air is key to surviving the heat of the summer months. Upright fans keep our homes and bedrooms nice and cool while we’re there, but we can’t bring them to the beach or the park. The Inno Portable Fan is an upright fan that can shrink down to five inches so we can bring it to the beach for those hot days that call for a cool blast.

The creators behind Inno say that the portable fan “was literally born out of sweat.” Instead of throwing money into air conditioners and buying a bunch of different fans for every occasion, Inno allows users to bring cool air with them anywhere they go, anytime. This minimal air purifier doubles up as a portable fan!

Air purifiers have become an essential home appliance since the pandemic as people want to take an added measure to make sure the air they breathe is as clean as it can be. Baram is a conceptual air purifier designed to not only make the air around you healthy but also double up as a portable fan – truly a ‘breath of fresh air’ if you will.

Baram which means wish and wind in Korean was designed to fulfill your wish for fresh breeze indoors. Large air purifiers are bulky, take up space, and don’t have the added functionality of a fan. Batam provides a compact and portable alternative that is more feasible to have in your home. The mobility is a key factor because you can station it anywhere, be it in your bedroom as you sleep or on your dining table when you work from home. The handle also doubles up as a stand which helps in tilting the blower towards you which is something smaller fans don’t have. The interface is user friendly and simple to operate; it is always visible even when the appliance is tilted at various angles.

This air purifier doesn’t compromise on form or function. The minimal build is easy on the eyes when compared to its predecessors, unlike other small air purifiers or fans Baram has a more universal appeal ie. it doesn’t look like a cheap office desk essential or something for a child’s room. The white + wood combination gives it an airy aesthetic that blends in with any interior style. Inspiration was taken from several objects that live on our tables to land on Baram’s details so that it fits well in your environment. Putting this on my concepts-I-need-to-buy-when-they-come-to-life list.

The Popsicle keeps you cool in an entirely different way that the name suggests! It’s a first-ever personal fan that actually looks pretty cool for once! I usually imagine the people using portable fans as the same who wear fanny packs. It’s usually the cherry on top of a touristy look. However, the Popsicle’s playful form is just plain adorable!

It takes on the exaggerated form of a frozen treat and features a cute leather strap so you can attach it to your keychain or wrist. Just keep it recharged to enjoy a cooling breeze you can take anywhere. While it will be tempting for some to lick (people sticking their tongues in fans is a real obsession – Google it!), our advice is NOT to!
