REM Headphones Let You Listen to Tunes in Your Sleep
Music buffs will be pleased to hear that they don’t have to go through at least one pair of headphones every two weeks just because they listen to music even when they’re in bed. If you’ve ever slept with a pair of earbuds on, then you’ll notice that the wires wear out much faster than if you didn’t use them in bed.
The REM headphones aren’t the first one of their kind (remember the Bedphones?) However, they’re different and I kind of prefer their design because it’s more compact and better-looking than the others. They’re designed to fit snugly in your ears, and have cords covered with a woven outer layer to keep them from tangling and getting snagged as you toss and turn in bed.
Unfortunately, they’re only a concept design for now. But who knows? Maybe someone will see just how good designer Gregory Martin’s design is and pick it up to manufacture it.

Remee Dream Mask Opens the Gateway to Lucid Dreams, In Style
I’ve had my fair share of lucid dreams, although most of these turned out to be some pretty bad nightmares where I was running for my life. Most people I know, however, haven’t experienced many lucid dreams. Now there’s a new device that claims to help you experience more lucid dreams, the Remee.
Created by Bitbanger Labs, Remee looks like a sleep mask with LED lights embedded in the side facing your eyes. Basically, six red lights will strobe, sweep and blink at customizeable intervals to stimulate your visual field, improving REM sleep and increasing the chances of lucid dreaming, so you can control your own dreams.
Remee is available in various designs, from plain ones to masks with patterns and colorful images. The project is raising funds on Kickstarter through May 18th. A pledge of $80(USD) or more will get you a standard Remee mask, while $100 will get you one of the interstellar prints shown above. The project has already reached its funding goal, so they’re definitely going to be produced.
