Yoda Fleece Robe: Cover Your Junk, You Will
Robes are weird, it’s almost like wearing a dress for us guys. Growing up, the only time we wore robes was Christmas Day because my mom didn’t want us in our Underoos in the pictures when we came down to unwrap our presents. Star Wars fans who need a new robe for Christmas Day can get this sweet Yoda robe.
It looks like the robe Yoda wears in the original flicks, though this one is made from cozy fleece, and has a hood with green pointy ears on it. It also looks a bit like Shrek to me. A patch on the back says “Yoda the Jedi Master.” It’s kind of like a boxer’s robe but geekier. A Jedi only throws Force Punches.
You can get yours at ThinkGeek for $49.99.
World of Warcraft Bloodfang Rogue Robe: +5 Charisma
I’ve never known anyone to wear a robe on a normal basis other than people in movies. The only time we ever wore robes growing up was Christmas Day so mom could take pictures that didn’t involve kids in their underwear.
If you are the robe sort of person, or just want to be prepared early for the holiday picture season, check this out. This is a World of Warcraft Bloodfang Rogue Robe. It certainly won’t let you steal any nookie from your female friends, unless they happen to be WoW geeks too.
It has pockets, a hood, and a removable belt sure to be lost in a few days. What’s with hoods on robes anyway, I think it’s so we can pretend to be boxers instead of a guy alone in his house wearing a dress. You can pick one of these up at ThinkGeek for $129.99.
The Force is With This Princess Leia Ladies’ Fleece Robe
Prince Willaim is married, so you can’t be his princess anymore. Who you can be, though, is the princess of your apartment with this Princess Leia fleece robe. It has a hoodie that automatically gives you the signature Leia buns when you pull it over your head. The robe is super soft, with satin accents on the belt for that added touch.
It’s basically everything you’re looking for in a robe plus more. The Princess Leia robe is available from ThinkGeek for $49.99.

Walking Dead Sheriff Robe is Perfect for Lazily Fighting the Undead
Growing up, the only time we wore pajamas to bed or around the house was Christmas Day. The other 364 days of the year it was tightie whities or at best Funderoos. That means that each year when Christmas would come around we had to go buy new PJs. A robe also would do the trick. If your house has similar traditions, you might as well come down the stairs wearing something cool like this robe.
Robes are admittedly out of place just about anywhere but a spa, but this Walking Dead Sheriff’s Robe is pretty awesome. It isn’t covered with blood and guts though. It looks like Rick’s clean uniform before things went to hell. It has a sheriff’s badge on both sleeves and a nametag on the pocket that says Grimes.
I could see me wearing this robe on Christmas day, though sweats are more my style these days. This would make a great gift for Walking Dead fans and it’s available now for $69.99(USD) at ThinkGeek. Now all they need to do is make a terrycloth sheriff’s hat to go with it.
Captain America Robe Shields Our Eyes from Your Body
Hey there True Believer! Start your day feeling like the first Avenger with the officially licensed Captain America terry robe.
It has a hood with eye holes and Cap’s shield embroidered at the back. If you (think) you have a super soldier’s physique, you can remove the belt and let Steve and Roger hang out.
Throw your mighty shield and head to ThinkGeek, where you can get the robe for $70 (USD).
Doctor Who and Dalek Bath Robes for Nerdy Relaxin’
Check out these awesome Doctor Who bath robes from Forbidden Planet. There’s no better way to stay warm after you exit your TARDIS themed shower.
The silver Dalek version will exterminate your chill and make you look like the Doctor’s famous arch enemies. And if you prefer to dress like the Doctor himself, you can check out the robe modeled after Tom Baker’s fourth Doctor, complete with scarf. “I just got out of the shower. Care for a Jelly Baby?”
And if you prefer to be more casual, go for the 11th Doctor’s robe, complete with some dandy shoulder patches.
These are some pretty sweet robes. I can’t think of any better way to beat the chill from traveling through time and space. Well, you could always turn the thermostat up, but that’s not as much fun.

Ravishing DIY Princess Leia Robe
Though it would be weird to call Princess Leia a style icon, she sure was quite a looker, especially in the hairstyle department.
Her hairstyle inspired several young ladies to experiment with their own looks. If you are not that adventurous and would like to try something less extreme, you could ...
