“Exposed” book strap lets you display your reading materials

One of the things I make sure when I go out of the house is that I have a book with me, in case of “reading emergencies”. Most of the time though I just stick it inside my bag since my bag is usually big enough to hold multitudes. But for those who don’t usually carry bags big enough to hold a book or two, an alternative to just carrying around that book should be available.

Designers: MAEKAN x DSPTCH

The MAEKAN x DSPTCH Book Strap is that option for those who still want to carry around books or those who want their reading material to be on display. It is big, or rather, long enough to hold things like books, magazines, and even tablets and laptops. It is one way to “show off” that you still read printed media or at least carry them around in case you need to read one.

The book strap is made from a herringbone seatbelt webbing that is around 1″ long and mil-spec webbing. The elastic horizontal strap can be stretched to accommodate whatever it is that you’ll be carrying while the two vertical straps are adjustable. You can place the items in it and then adjust to secure. It is able to carry items between 8 and 16 inches. It is an exposed strap design so you have to make sure that you secure the items by adjusting according to what you’ll place “inside”. But you can also use it for a book bag that doesn’t have straps, in case you don’t want it to be that exposed.

As someone who has a lot of small things inside my bag along with books and my gadgets, the original design for this will definitely not work for me. I might also be paranoid that something will fall out although it seems like it’s designed for that not to happen. But it will definitely appeal to a certain segment of the reading market.

How this fashionable Apple AirPods necklace makes sure you never lose them again

Apple’s AirPods ushered in a new generation of audio accessories and put the 3.5mm headphone jack on its way to retirement. But while the previously ridiculed wireless earbuds have practically become the new trend, unsurprisingly, it did create a new problem for people still unused to juggling two small thingamajigs in their hands. AirPods keep getting lost left and right, pun intended, forcing people to waste money on backup pairs. It’s extremely difficult when you lose one piece, so the best answer is to always keep them together no matter what. That’s exactly the kind of solution that these neck straps offer, but they do so in a way that transforms practical utility into trendsetting fashion.

Panther Black

Truly wireless earbuds like the AirPods free us from the tyranny of tangled cables, but that liberty doesn’t come without its own price. In theory, they should always be inside their case when they’re not on your ears, but in practice, people tend to take them off temporarily, only to forget where they placed them in the first place. That’s the benefit that cables have, even for those wireless earphones that still have a wire connecting both ends since you can always hang them around your neck while not using them.

Daisy Yellow

That’s the design that the PodChain is aiming for, but it takes the concept to the next level when it comes to aesthetics. Yes, it provides a strap you can attach a pair of AirPods or AirPods Pro so you can hang them around your neck or on a hook until it’s time to use them again or charge them. The key difference is that it goes a step further in making sure those buds don’t just dangle off your shoulders.

Midnight Blue

With a One Click Patented Lock, you can easily secure each AirPod in place. And, when you’re not using them, you can magnetically join the two pieces together, closing the loop around your neck. No more dangling ends that get snagged by objects and people you pass by; just a single, eye-catching woven cord that you can proudly wear like a necklace.

And that’s where the AirPods necklace’s other big features comes in. Each strap is made from beautifully braided cords that combine complementary colors, depending on the style. Blue, black, and gray combine to create a romantic Midnight Blue, while yellow, blue, and brown mix for an earthy Daisy Yellow. And you don’t have to settle for one, either since you can easily change the necklace you’ll wear depending on your mood or outfit for the day. So give yourself some well-deserved peace of mind with these stylish necklaces designed to give your AirPods a home so that they never get lost again.

Samsung and Jaden Smith Earth Day collab gives birth to stylish and sustainable accessories

Due to their sheer volume, consumer electronics, and especially mobile devices, might be one of the biggest contributors to the Earth’s demise. It is impossible at this point to turn back the clock or even quit cold turkey and give up these modern conveniences, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take steps to mitigate their harmful effects. Some major brands have started switching to more sustainable materials, whether in packaging or in the devices themselves. Those aren’t the only opportunities for improvement, though, and this collaboration between Samsung and artist and designer Jaden Smith demonstrates how mobile accessories can also benefit from sustainable design while still being fashionable and eye-catching as any design can be.

Designer: Samsung x Jaden Smith (MSFTSrep)

Mobile accessories like cases and watch straps might even be bigger offenders when it comes to pollution and carbon emissions because they’re so cheap to make, especially when you use plastic materials. People usually go through them quickly and throw them away without a second thought. It doesn’t have to be like that, of course, but it takes intentional and conscientious actions to change for the better.

Samsung’s 2023 collection of eco-conscious accessories serves as a testament to how you don’t have to sacrifice quality and beauty for sustainability, as some might incorrectly presume. The set utilizes a variety of styles popularized by Jaden Smith’s clothing label, MSFTSrep (“misfits republic”), and showcases a variety of unique designs that express a vibrant and perhaps even rebellious spirit.

The MSFTSrep Trippy Summer Spiral and Wavy Rainbow, for example, bring a splash of color to cases for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Although less flamboyant, the MSFTSrep Classic and Snowprint Galaxy Buds 2 Pro case and Galaxy Watch strap still carry distinct marks that celebrate the owner’s individuality and uniqueness.

The most important aspect of these fashionable accessories, however, is the fact that they use sustainable materials, both in their construction as well as they’re packaging. They use a combination of partially degradable plastic as well as TPU that contains recycled material from Samsung’s own manufacturing process waste. The products are also packaged in recycled paper with card stock printed using vegetable ink. Created to celebrate Earth Day next week, these designs try to send a message that being sustainable is now fashionable, and, fortunately, major brands are finally making it easier to get these products into the hands of the masses.

Rota-Strap and Rota-Lock lets you carry your camera with comfort and confidence

If you want to level up your photography, you might want to grab this rope and lock duo that will let you bring your camera anywhere without worrying about theft.

Although there were predictions of doom and gloom in the early years of the smartphone, dedicated cameras haven’t gone extinct and will continue to play a critical role in the field of photography. Despite all the power they offer, however, there’s no argument that carrying a camera along isn’t exactly the most comfortable experience. With the Rota-Strap and its Rota-Lock companion, however, you pretty much have one strap to rule them all, leaving you free to concentrate on what matters the most: capturing moments without missing a beat.

Designer: viiu

Click here to Buy Now: $48 $132.8 (64% off). Hurry, for a limited time only!

Typical camera straps don’t actually offer much other than allowing you to hang your camera from your neck or your wrist. They’re also trivial to cut, which is a frequent strategy used by thieves to “cut-and-grab” your precious gear. viiu’s Rota-Strap addresses all of those while also giving photographers the freedom to choose how they want to carry their camera.

The Rota-Strap’s secret sauce is Dyneema fiber, a material that deceptively looks like a typical cord but is actually stronger than steel. This material makes the strap nearly impossible to cut but is also lightweight and comfortable on the skin. You’ll never have to worry about your strap accidentally breaking or tearing, potentially breaking your sensitive camera as well. And despite its strength, it’s pliant enough to roll or fold easily into your bag.

That Dyneema cord isn’t the only thing that gives the Rota-Strap its durability, though. The connectors that attach to the ball link on the camera are made from 7075 aluminum alloy, the same sturdy metal used on aircraft. While it’s tough as metal, the connector can also rotate 360 degrees, so you won’t end up with twisted straps. The connector is also covered with a rubber material, so it won’t scratch the surface of the camera. Together, these anti-cut and anti-twisting features make the Rota-Strap already one-of-a-kind, leaving the competition in its dust. It doesn’t stop there, however, and the accompanying Rota-Lock steps up the game even higher.

With these accessories, you can turn the Rota-Strap into a hand strap so that you’re ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice. You can also turn the strap into a wrist strap to let the camera dangle in style. Finally, you can attach the Rota-Lock to backpack straps to take a load off your neck and move it to the stronger muscles of your shoulders. In addition to giving you the freedom to carry your camera the way you need and want, it actually changes the way the weight of the camera is distributed, from a single point of the neck to two even points on the backpack straps.

The importance of being able to offload the weight to your shoulders can’t be stated enough. Almost all camera straps hang around your neck, which poses a real risk to your health, particularly to your spine. Professional cameras are already heavy, but the lenses you often attach double or even triple that weight. After many days of walking for long hours, that weight can do long-lasting harm to your neck and spine.

Preferring a powerful camera over a lightweight smartphone doesn’t mean you have to compromise on comfort and convenience. Thanks to the smart use of super-durable materials and creative product design, the Rota-Strap and Rota-Lock give you the confidence and peace of mind to carry your camera around with you wherever you go, ready to snap up photos or record videos in a blink of an eye. Best of all, a single Rota-Strap and all three Rota-Lock only cost $48 with this Kickstarter exclusive, leaving pro and amateur photographers fewer excuses to keep their cameras at home.

Lightweight and breathable Apple Watch band for mixing comfort with convenience

Being an active individual means you appreciate accessories high on comfort and flexibility of use. Well, this cool Apple Watch strap is made for such lifestyle craving people. A band that’s so lightweight and comfy, it elevates your Apple Watch’s utility a few notches higher.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is high in style, features and function. The wearable does impress in its aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium skin. While Apple lovers can choose from among the braided loop, solo loop of the sports loop style bands – none of them practically speaking is breathable enough for sweat-inducing physical activities. Even the aftermarket options for the Apple Watch strap don’t solve much of the flexibility of use and breathability requirements.

Designer: JinLong Tu

This is where the Baseus Let’’s go Watch Band comes in to fill the gap. The Apple Watch strap has a smart design that reduces the contact area with the skin to not hinder in any way with athletic activities while still being able to do all the health and fitness tracking to perfection. The design of the strap is such that it lets the wearer adjust the length to millimeter detail – something that every wearable strap can sometimes disappoint with. Especially for users who are very finicky about their wearables. Most of all, the watch band maintains a very high level of comfort and convenience, even with long hours of wearing.

Sadly this Apple Watch accessory is still in the concept stage, and has immense potential to make it to the consumer market. Obviously, the material and finish of the real product need to be on point to ward off any traces of sweat from sticking underneath the band’s surface, while maintaining a very lightweight aesthetic. In fact, it should be so light, the wearer should not even notice it. Not only Apple’s smartwatch, but this cool solution for active individuals could see hyper demand given it is produced in cool color options to go with the trendy wearables of the current era!

The Reserve Strap Could Boost Your Apple Watch’s Battery Life

reserve-strap

Did you know your Apple Watch has a hidden diagnostic port? Yeah, well, it does and it turns out there’s a team of engineers out there currently developing a strap that could use that port to supply the watch with extra battery life. Up to 125% more, actually. It’s called the Reserve Strap and is currently at the prototype stage. It’s not known whether Apple will be happy with a third party developer using the diagnostic port; while Apple is encouraging development of straps, going so far as to provide official guidelines, they’re expecting the straps to vary the aesthetics, rather than improve core functionality. Still, there’s very little Apple could do to prevent eventual Reserve Strap customers from accessing this port, and the company plans to provide a tool to help them flip the port’s cover. More than doubling your Apple Watch’s battery life does come at a cost, since a pre-order will set you back a cool $249, with shipping in the Fall. Yup, owning Apple’s latest gadget sure is expensive.

New Camera Strap for my DSLR Camera

photo

Before I got this Crumpler camera strap, I always use the strap that packed with a camera. And I think most of amateur and professional photographers don’t care about this, that’s why we see A “NIKON” or “CANON” strap most of the time. If you don’t mind to advertise a camera brand without benefit, than the default camera strap won’t hurt you. But if you want to snap pictures with style, you need to leave the new camera straps wrapped up in their boxes and get any stylish straps you want. You may wonder how I get this Navy Crumpler Singapore Sling Camera Strap, you can buy it from LoveCases.co.uk
